I called Habs in 5. Rather them close at home, sometimes too much rest isn't good. And Friday I can get more people together to watch anyway, so I'm ok with tonight.
Not at all, but there's still a chance! When Chicago was down by 3 in the first and then came back to win.....it's like a huge quack you! We slept for a period and still won, thanks. I'm sure that's the Wild's plan, they just want the win to sting even more for St. Louis.

sounds like a plan to me! Kinda surprised they didn't pull dubnyk, but we won't quit

Stupid jets. You were supposed to lose in 5. Here's to Ottawa winning the next 3 so I look like a genius picking them in 7
lol, you know just as well as everyone else, that Carey Price is not going to lose 4 straight at any point from now, until he's aged drastically, playing in the twilight in what will have been a hall of fame worthy career. I'd be pretty shocked to see the habs drop the next one.

Went to a fun Chicago Wolves/Utica Comets playoff game last night. (St Louis/Vancouver AHL affiliates.) Game got tied with one second left and then when into a second twenty minute OT. Considering I wasn't invested at all, it was a surprisingly good time.
today i called the radio station to win a dumb contest. i just had to tell them that the morning show guys were holding giant cutouts of evgeni malkin's parents at last night's game. i won a subway gift card. so that's what it's like being a pens fan right now.
Lightning just beat the Red Wings to even the series at 2. I hate that Tampa has a hockey team, but I hate even more how the Detroit Red Wings aren't in the Western Conference anymore. I hope they are moved back once the nhl adds this Vegas team.

wouldnt count on it, and honestly, wings have a better chance in the east. West is short 2 teams as it is, so they're more looking to expand the league from 30 to 32. I'd bet Vegas and Seattle are the most likely candidates, but if a new team came to Quebec or Ontario, it would probably be Columbus to go back west, with Det being the only real other option

I'm curious as to why the league would expand to 32 teams.
Also, Phx should just move to Vegas. And does anyone in South Florida give a shit about hockey?

eastern conference has 16 teams, Western conference has 14.
I'd almost be more in favour just subtracting 2 teams to even it out to be honest.
the 2 teams with the lowest annual ticket sales. Just a shot in the dark here, but I'd guess that would likely be Columbus and Florida Panthers, with Pheomix, Carolina and maybe Nashville in the mix. The California teams do well as long as the team is winning, and same with Tampa and the panthers.
I feel like bettman is more likely to expand to 16 a side, and add a team in Vegas and Seattle or Quebec
