A friend of mine used to work for them, so a bunch of us a few years ago went to their show to support my friend. It was actually really fun with all the late 90s nostalgia and everyone was dancing!
You leave my 11 year old selfs choice in music alone.
Just for clarification. I only want an Mmmmbop sing along.
A good question is, would they even play it now?
EDIT: I went into the Hanson thread, and didn't troll people. I'm proud of myself for being nice.
You mean, do they owe it to the fans to give them a feel good dose of nostalgia, even though they seem like they are trying to not ride that tail anymore? Or are they artistically quirky enough that they can pretend they never had those hair cuts and brotherly loved their way to the top for 15 minutes in 1997?
Oops. Also... a correction...in 97 I was 13. Not 11. I suddenly feel less validated in my musical preferences.

Fun Fact: my first concert was Hanson on a mall tour in 3rd grade. My mom picked me up from school & I made a shitty sign out of markers and glitter at recess. I was sweet as fuck as a child.
hanson is legitimately good. if you're here to post mmmbop jokes/ talk about 90s nostalgia or whatever, just listen to those videos and tell me that's not grade-a pop/rock/soul music. the mmmbop singalong would be epic, but it wouldn't be the best part of the set.
i have a lot of friends who are now into hanson. only because i gave them hanson music but changed the song artist on the file so they wouldn't pre-judge. also, chicks love that shit.

The appropriately named Pootman appears to be immune to things that stink, i.e. Hanson, his own farts, etc.
