I like some of what Diplo and Skrillex do as well as some of their collaborative efforts. Some of it annoys me. Are you saying they played "down" to the crowd there? I'd assume they'd play different sets at more musically advanced festivals such as Electric Forest, Wakarusa or Bonnaroo than what you'd get at Ultra or Electric Daisy Carnival. So was it that bad that you would put it below a Justin Bieber lip sync session? Or were you saying if someone was actually going through the physical act of streaming Ultra, they essentially suck?
My point is that people need to manage expectations. I think Diplo is fairly decent, but he's made no bones about marketing himself to lowest common denominator douchebags.
Ultra going with only 1 channel for their stream was not a good idea. It was cheese EDM the whole weekend. In the past there have always been acts worth watching on the small stages on Channel 2/3 and that was not the case this year.
I don't remember Ultra ever having multiple artist streams.

They had multiple streams through Sirius XM. I was driving for a few hours on Saturday and was flipping back and forth until I got bored of hearing essentially the same stuff over and over again.

Hahah modern EDM has less lyrical diversity then mainstream radio has songs. These DJs are still ripping the same vocals with different drops since 2011.

Haha exactly. It felt like I heard an "OFF OFF OFF WITH THEIR HEAD" yeah yeah yeahs sample 15 times in a matter of 30 min.

Bayer and Prydz had a very strong showing. It actually really worked out that they were on the ASOT stage because there was complete live audio of them yesterday.
