I've seen them at counterpoint this year and 2 sets at electric forest. I intend to see them twice in october as well. They have just been on fire in the summer months once alana has gotten use to the band.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Alana can play the bass!! And the new light set up rivals Umphrey's light show as the best in the Jam genre. All for STS9 being at the farm and playing till the sun comes up.

Be sure to let us know how those shows are this weekend. Michal Menert is awesome too. Jealous.
This was Alana's first show with the band. Yes, it was a great show. I even won an autographed guitar from the band. Looking forward to seeing them again. Seeing them at Roo would be great.

Circus was the first STS9 song I ever heard, so I am always partial to that. When the Dust Settles is my favorite of their "newer sound." I get so amped when I hear it live.

FortSteuben You are going to see St. Paul at Mr Smalls? I almost got tickets for that but it didnt work out. Mr. Smalls is an amazing venue.

Yessir. I was so impressed with their Bonnaroo set I bought pre-sale tickets the day they came out. And Mr. Small's is a nice venue. I was there last week for Lettuce actually. The only thing that stinks is that its in Millvale, not much else going on in that borough.
STS9 had one of their best tours in over a decade. They are hitting on all cylinders and finally jamming songs like they used to. My first ever experience with Tribe was at Bonnaroo when they played a sunrise set- closing with circus. I've seen over 20 shows since. Would love to see them on the farm again.

I can honestly say that other than seeing Arcade Fire from the floor of Consol Energy in Pittsburgh about 5 people deep, STS9 was the best show I've seen in 2014.

Whern/where'd you see em?
October 10, Stage AE, Pittsburgh.
It was only my second Tribe show (First was a fest set at All Good 2012). They jammed hard. Danced my ass off all night.
