Other than the two or three times I listened to 30 hours, I've spent the whole day NOT listening to new Kanye. That is way more upsetting than anything related to Taylor Swift.

Who's apologizing for GnR's mysognyst bullshit? When they do it it's fucked up, when Kanye does it it's fucked up. And in both instances I can compartmentalize between the two (just like you can). I'm not saying Kanye's whole album is trash because Famous is fucked up, and I'm not saying GnR's whole catalog is trash because Axl did fucked up shit 30 years ago.
Besides, hypocrisy is a two-way street. Why are you cheerleading for Kanye after bashing the GNR reunion? Don't you think it's even more fucked up that in the 30 years that have passed since GnR made music that Kanye is not only saying the same shit, but actually thinks dropping "I might still fuck Taylor Swift, she owes me one" is somehow a complement?
Honest question for the people up in arms over the Taylor Swift line:
The people going nuts about this on here are the same people who are the biggest cheerleaders for the GnR reunion at Coachella. The shit Axl has said over the years, without any apology; is wayy more offensive, sexist, and straight up racist; than Kanye who thought he had permission to say a line directed at someone as a joke. Seems a little hypocritical no?
You make a really good point in that Kanye thought he had permission. It could've just been complete miscommunication. We definitely know it wasn't just Kanye calling Taylor out out of the blue

Besides, you can easily argue that those lyrics serve a narrative point, where the narrator is going through a whole list of terrible things that are "so easy" for him to get away with based on his station in life. Just like you can argue that "New Slaves" isn't misogynistic because the narrator is intentionally listing monstrous behavior to serve a point.

Was listening to my Kanye playlist yesterday in anticipation of the album, and this song came on. I love his verse here, so while we are waiting for that brand new shit, we might as well pass the time.
If RJ came out with another song saying "Kim still wants to fuck me, I made that bitch famous" kanye would be in an outroar about the disrespect of the lyric. Dude needs to come down to earth.
