I'm pretty sure he was just joking. Him and Taylor are good friends.
Pretty sure it's already been reported that he asked her about it and she was like "uh, no."
It's also been reported that he asked her and she said it's fine. She just didn't wanna release the song on her twitter. Keep letting the hate flow through you though, it's making the album even better for me.

Also, let's give Kanye some credit with the track listing. This is the most songs he's had on an album since Late Registration.
More tracks annoys me if it relates to poor quality control. Like Schoolboy Q's "deluxe" version of Oxymoron. It was just a bunch of boring songs added on to the end.

She's claiming she never knew he referred to her as a bitch, and she warned him about releasing a song with such a misogynistic theme.
I'm not going to try and argue because I'm sure you guys will turn it around to me being sexist some how but it would be pretty damn difficult to find a rapper that doesn't use the word bitch to refer to women.

It's not the bitch thing, it's the part about fucking her that's awful. You may recall I was defending him a scant 3 days ago, but this isn't defensible.

Yeah, it really doesn't bother me. Maybe that makes me an awful person. Maybe Kanye is lying to everybody but he said he got her blessing, that's good enough for me.
People are more up in arms about the line here than on reddit, which is somehow surprising to me. Anyway, I'm excited about the album and getting into a semantics argument about how much one line is or isn't offensive is really annoying.
As Juggs pointed out previously, it's the fact that he's specifically referring to Taylor when using the term bitch. He's not using the word as some hip hop culture generalization towards all women.
You drop direct insults on a diss track aimed at other rappers but not against an unassuming female with zero involvement in the world of rap battles.
If RJ came out with another song saying "Kim still wants to fuck me, I made that bitch famous" kanye would be in an outroar about the disrespect of the lyric. Dude needs to come down to earth.
You mean like when Ray J released a song called "I Hit it First" and Kanye just replied with a funny line saying "I bet me and Ray J would be friends if we didn’t like the same bitch / Yeah, he might have hit it first / Only problem is I’m rich". The overreaction in this thread is ridiculous, y'all are the only ones getting your feeling hurt.
Misogyny isn't really you guys. It's just people being too sensitive.
Christ, the number of hours I've logged on this board defending Kanye and now I'm getting bagged on for calling a fucked up lyric fucked up.
Yeah, all the times I had to defend Kanye from the bullshit, thinly-guised racist criticisms on here, but calling out this most recent bullshit, boy what a "hater" I am.

Unrelated to the topic but I always thought Helen Lovejoys modern equivalent would be the anti-pc crusader. The cry to "think of the children" was never to really to save the children but to thwart anything that seemed transgressive that could pierce the conservative culture she wanted to dominate. Today's Helen Lovejoy would not appreciate everyone calling her out on her bullshit and hypocrisy and she would call it "PC Culture."
So how about that Chance verse huh? I think my soul left my body when those trumpets kicked in, the Social Experiment influence was real there.
I've been holding out for CDQ to listen to it, but I've heard nothing but great things about his verse. I'm super excited to hear it.
Yeah I listened to the album in the theater and I'm waiting for CDQ to listen again because I had very mixed feeling about it. Ultra Light Beam was so good though, I found a rip of that one alone and have been listening to it all day.
