It calls out Keys and Moe as Sat and Thurs headliner respectively. I can't imagine Plant isn't one of the headliners?
Right when the lineup was being posted, I saw on the site it said Plant was actually playing with the Keys. Not sure if it's disapeared or just hard to find, but I definetely saw it.
Edit: just poor comprehension on my part, but the wording I saw made it sound like it.
They really did knock this out of the park. Why must this be so close to Roo? And the weekend DMB is in Pittsburgh
They sell single day tickets right?
They usually do have day tickets. But yeah, I am really happy with this. Solid undercard. Woohoo! Just to round out my three-lineups-in-thirteen-hours-that-I-am-going-to-and-love! Side note, Dave is Roo weekend again for me I made it almost every Hartford show (plus lots of other close shows) from age 14 on and the past few years I have been getting screwed over with Dave conflicting with fests. Le sigh.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I havent missed a Dave show in Pittsburgh since 2002. This is very tempting though
Warren, Grace, Nicki and Brittany all in the same place for the weekend. I think I had a wet dream about that once.

I've got an awesome MJ crew that you can camp with

Not sure how Mule sets are happening. Maybe 2 late night. Or maybe they play Before and after the Keys on Sat, or maybe another night. Was really surprised they aren't headlining but I'm cool with it. Is this 1st time ever at MJ they're not headlining?

Theres a million types of camping passes. Which is the right decision? And Im guessing VIP isnt worth it?
LD is right. I actually do VIP (w/ camping) at MJ. bacon turned me onto it a few years ago. TOOOTALLY worth it (unlike Roo in my opinion). GA camping is a little rough- unless you get there early, you camp on an incline. VIP is flat (and roomy). Free (kinda) hot showers and REAL bathrooms (access to the base lodge while at camp- nice bathroom single stall trailers on the mountain). Discounted beer and booze inside (and honestly- they almost always let you walk through security with a full drink). FREE, GOOD food Friday through Sunday from 1:00 til like 9:00 PM. I spend close to nothing while there between the free food and discounted drinks/ ability to walk in with a drink/ proximity to camp. Easy access to the VIP pit at the main stage that's rarely full, plus covered viewing areas on the mountain (and bean bags and hammock lounge area).

Does VIP sell out pretty quick or is it like Roo where it never really sells out? I need this lineup in my life so bad. I would give up SK to be on the mountain

I find it hard to believe that Mule isn't headlining Warren Haynes' own festival, especially considering the two sets/Dark Side special, but yet Alabama Shakes are.

Mountain Jam loves my crew <3 They took this picture of us last year (we had no idea it was one of their official photographers) and shared it on their page. They just shared us again! This time they filtered it. So rad, MJ, so rad.
Caption: Do you and your crew have a set of your own #MountainJam Rules? What are they?
PS Dave Maynar the checkered shirt is the guy from Knox that knows Windy.

We've added a whole bunch of new artists to the #?MountainJam 2015 Lineup: Planet of The Abts (POA), Simone Felice, Spirit Family Reunion, Arc Iris, The Mike and Ruthy Band, Simi Stone Music Page, zepparella, Matt Andersen and more!

Most of the hotels nearby require a three night reservation. I'd call each of them individually to see if you can do just a Friday only at any of those.
In 2011, when I went up for just the Saturday, I stayed at the Best Western in Coxsackie - but it was all the way back by the Thruway, 45 minutes from the fest site.
I'm officially out of Mountain Jam. I accepted a new position which places the busiest weekend of the year as the first weekend of June. It'll also be off of the list for the foreseeable future unless the busy weekend changes dates, which I am not hoping for because I am desperately hoping that it'll never, ever, ever interfere with Bonnaroo...

Just bought a Friday and Saturday pass. Super Excited.
Does anyone have any insight on the off-site parking? - What are the typical prices to park on off-site lots?
And once I park in an off-site lot, I presume the only way to get to the festival is on a shuttle? That is the gist I am getting from the website.
I don't know the price, but there are buses which send you out to the other lots. You can probably walk, but it'll take like 15-20 minutes each way (actual number depends on how far out you are, it'll vary.)
In 2012, the last time I was up there, there was some parking by CR 83, just below the entrance to the mountain - but now I see its replaced with car and RV camping. There were (and now are only) off-site lots back on 23A, scattered about the village. Some aren't too far from the bridge across the river, others are a little further out. Some of the walks from the outer pods at Roo are longer.
