Seems to me in the past we have heard from Bonnaroo about the discount ticket day in November, which as I recall was the day after thanksgiving. Have there been any announcements to that effect this year? Have I missed something?
More importantly, how difficult is it to get tickets during the pre-sale? Important dates thread it sold out in 30mins one year. Does it always sell out that fast? I've never done pre sale and I'm going to try for it this year, eve if I'm not sure if I'm going or not.

I have had no problems the last few years, but I am always right at my computer when it is time to get them. If you get on right as the tickets go up and have a decent wifi connection, then you should be fine.
I was able to buy tickets no problem at regular sale in 13 without the payment plan. Last year I didnt buy tickets, and this year I'm going to go if I can so I'm going to go for presale. Sounds like its pretty hit or miss though? How long does pre-sale even last? Just like 24 hours or till they sell out? I imagine they sell out in just a few hours though, if that.

I have done the presale for years. It does sell out quickly. I am always on right at the start. '13 was easy and I was done in five minutes. '14 was the worst experience and I could only get payment plan after 45 minutes of pure hell.
I've had no problems snagging two tix on presale the last two years. Just make sure you're on the ticket site with your finger ready to click BUY as SOON as sale time rolls around.

I am 100% full on going this year (hang in there Grandpa, you can make it 'till the 16th) and since the original "leak" of the dates I've been watching Bonnaroo's site waiting for a presale announcement.
In past years I didn't care about pre-sale and always wound up buying at 3rd tier on a payment plan but this year I plan on committing as soon as possible. Is it me or does it seem like announcements have been delayed this year compared to previous years?
