when do you think yall will leave, thursday am? i was hopin to leave around 8 or 9 on thurday and be there by 11 or 12.
We would be getting our stuff finalized about 8 AM, and leaving an hour or so after. We left later than we would have liked last year (About 10:30 AM), but still made it up there before 1:30, and that includes stopping for gas and lunch. Our site was very close at "Camp Emperor".

We're leaving from MidTown. We're thinking late-night wednesday(early morning thursday) but, are open to suggestions. Whatever plans we all may have, we should keep this thread open/active so that we can work this out. I'd really like to have a "camp" and not just a "campsite". Dig?

I'm down. That's a great idea to have all the Atlanta 'Rooers staying really close if not right next to each other. I remember last year, all of us stopped at Quiznos to eat before going inside the festival. Maybe all of us could meet there, early Thursday morning and get a bite to eat and meet each other. I also talked to Hilikus about meeting and going up there at the same time. I would be apt to organizing some kind of get together so we allcould discuss this in person.

^ Sounds great to me. We are meeting some (very cool) out-of-state (TN) friends (newbies)along the way (maybe the dreaded Wal-Mart parking lot)but, are looking forward to some sort of "Camp Atlanta". We should all hook-up somewhere and work it out. PM me with place and time.

Cool. Let me talk to my buds this weekend and I'll get a rough idea of when we would leave. It's early, I know, but I like to plan this stuff way in advance.
I'm down for a Hotlanta Roo campsite. It would also be awesome to meet up with some fellow Hotlanta Rooers. I myself live in Little 5 Points. I'm always up for making new friends, anr Roo people are the coolest of the cool. I've been in townfor about six months, and don't really know anybody outsided of work yet. So feel free to hit me up, if so inclined. chris4u_k@hotmail.com Peace.
Looks like Georgia has a pretty good contingent... Me and at least one of my friends are leaving from Augusta probably thursday morning, we arn't sure the rout we will take yet but it would be excelent if we could get in a caravan just so we might be a little more .... secure in our navagation i guess you could say
