I heard a song by them a while ago that I liked, but didn't really start listening to them until the past few days. Saw them last night and the lead singer sounds just as good live and is awesomely awkward on stage. It was a really fun show. I'd love to see a longer set from them (they were the first of four bands and only played 30mins). They'd be a great Thursday night band. Oh, and they're British. Which makes them even better.
I also was at last night's Columbus show, and I turned to my wife at one point and said, "These guys would really make sense for Bonnaroo next year." I hope it happens. I enjoyed their show.

Were you really?! I was on the floor pretty much the entire time except for the beginning of cage the elephant when I was on top left way at the end. I would've loved to have said hi!
But yes, they were great and I thought the same thing. I'm glad I left early and got there in time for them!

We try to go to all the CD102.5 seasonal fests. They're such a great deal for the price. I honestly didn't dislike a single act last night, although my wife wasn't a big fan of Future Islands. Alt J and Cage the Elephant were particularly impressive in my opinion. That place was jam packed, though. We honestly didn't make it anywhere near the floor. Our go-to spot was back by the soundboard.

it was suuuuuper packed. i don't even like cage the elephant but i was really impressed with them as well. i'm really glad i tracked down a last minute (way over priced) ticket and went. it was totally worth worsening my voice for.
