That's a nice 2nd release. I counted about 20 shows I would see from that alone. Nice to see Summer Camp taking the chance and throwing some this-release love to GRiZ. Even if it's maybe a little premature, he is on the way to the top anyway. GRiZ, EOTO, Papadosio, Werks, Dopapod, Tauk, Turkuaz, KDTU, Snails, Collier & Burbridge, The Heard, The Motet, Kung Fu, Pink Talking Fish, Twiddle and Wick-it are all acts I'll either see again or plan on seeing. First release already had some great shit. If I lived up that way, I'd go and be more inspired than anything else I'm going to but Waka. They are working on an easy A/A- lineup for my tastes.

Griz isn't even a headliner just the highest on this release they still have one headliner to announce in phase 3

Second wave of announcements is pretty sweet!
Also Umphrey's mentioned a while back that they will be playing three sets on Friday Night instead of playing a set on Sunday afternoon. I loved the afternoon set last year but a three set show is very intriguing.

VIP information appreciated as well.
You are gonna have a blast. I am so upset I cant attend this year!
I unfortunately dont know much about VIP. I only have been once and did GA.
Apparently the police presence in Illinois leading into Camp is pretty heavy. (I didnt have a problem with this personally last year) Make sure there is nothing hanging from your rear view mirror. Its illegal in IL and they will pull you over as an excuse to search your shit.
You dont camp by your car. So if you have ability to pack something like a wagon or wheelbarrow to lug supplies from parking to camping would be great.
Woods camping is at a premium and fills up fast, so if you want to do that, you need to get there for the pre-party on Thursday. If it doesnt rain, You will never be more dirty in your life. My only con from the Fest last year was how dusty it was, the grounds are mostly dirt, not a ton of grass.
They do not allow outside alcohol and they do a pretty decent job of checking your supplies as you come in. They do offer on site beer sales were you can buy twelve packs of cans for reasonable prices, (athough there is still a slight mark up, Nothing that will break your bank though.)
You cant camp in the stage areas, but other than that its pretty much free reign on where you set up camp. Last year I camped in the back of the Park, and if I went this year I'd do the same thing. We could hear all the music on the Moonshine stage (one of the 2 major stages, and the stage where moe. makes their residence) perfectly clear from our camp(there was only a small line of trees separating us from the stage, and we could still get to any other stage in ten minutes walk. Also way less dust and more grass in the back, because of less people traffic.
Umphrey's is playing Three Sets on Fri.(one as GODBONER with Gene Ween) you should be in attendance for that.

I live 15 min away and went last year as a vendor. PM me here or on fb for logistics, though I can't help with any info on the camping side of it as I slept in my own bed everynight

I'll get to that. Eventually. Maybe the day before. Because that's how I plan things. Thanks, doll!
