I am a first time Rooer and I have to say that I don't think I've ever been this excited about anything in my entire life! I've already got my list of everything to take/buy...my boyfriend must think I'm insane to be planning this early! ;D
Ok, on to my question. We will be spending the night in a hotel on Wednesday night and heading into camp on Thursday. My hotel is off of exit 114. Do they close this exit to get back onto the interstate to go towards exits 112 and 111 (24W)? If so, will I have to travel down 41 to get in the back way? I was really hoping to be able to get back onto the interstate to get off on 112 if it's open. What do you experienced Rooers think?
You will be able to get on the interstate at all exits. You just cannot exit off the closed ones. This keeps traffic moving around Manchester and backs it up in more rural areas. They may or may not close exits but if they do it will most likely be all the exits from 111 to Brushy Branch Rd and bring everyone in from the south. (and east.) If you come in this way early you will probably end up in BFE
If you exit 111 you come in from the north (and west) and MAY get a good site (or may end up in BFE anyway.)
I sometime come in the back way so I can guarantee I enter from Exit 111 side and then hope for the best. So far I have arrive early Thur and not gone to BFE (knock on wood.)

What is the difference between exit 111 and bushy branch road? How many ways are there into the camping area, and what roads do I take to get there? I've looked up the map around the area, but I'm confused on how to actually get in there.
