No love for the possibility of Earth Wind & Fire => Flying Lotus?
IMO that'd be the best one two combo of the fest.
That's my biggest hope for LN. While I'm sure RTJ will be incredible, I'll have seen them 3 times by then and their set will be packed. Odesza will be great too, but EWF and Flying Lotus will both be ridiculous.
For Saturday I'm really hoping we get D'angelo > Superjam (still hoping for New Basement Tapes).
This is now my biggest fear too. On a positive note, if Atomic Bomb!, SBTRKT, and Jamie xx are back-back-back in some order in a tent, I'll be pretty happy. Dammit though, I wish Roo would just do Co-headlining sets with Mumsons on the What and Jacket on the Which hahaha.
I for one am kinda happy that RTJ will most likely be conflicting with Mau5, EWF, and Odesza. That show was gonna be dangerously packed anyway, so I'm glad that it will be scheduled against some heavy hitters. Although I am bummed about missing that Earth, Wind, and Fire set.
You say its going to be crazy packed at RTJ and I would agree, except they weren't that packed for BUKU. They were in the ballroom also, which I have seen get balls-out packed where you can't move at all. Of course they also had an early evening show at BUKU...
What do you all think of this mock I have for the LN's?
Which 12:30 - Bassnectar till -?? This - Run The Jewels>Atmosphere>Flying Lotus That- Superjam>Medeski.... The Other-Sbtrkt>Tycho
Saturday
Which- Earth wind and Fire>StS9 This-Ben Harper>Childish Gambino That-Slayer>Tears For Fears The Other-Flume>Odesza
well I guessed every late night act and added a couple that arent. I'll be watching some Deadmau5 on Friday, Run The Jewels and Odesza come frist then Earth Wind and Fire. Saturday Flume and Superjam are my highlights but I'll check out some Bassnectar, Slayer and Tycho.. I respect D'Angelo but its not my style.

Maaaaan I'm so worried.
I hope to GOD they don't put Flying Lotus and STS9 2.0 at the same time slot. I know it makes a lot of sense to put RTJ-> FLYLO but I would much prefer STS9 2.0 --> Flylo
I've seen run the jewels so many times. That being said if I want to get as close as possible for Flylo and they put RTJ first I would have no choice.
Also, if Dangelo and Bassnectar conflict on Saturday I will bust a blood vessel.
Ive seen RTJ, so I would check out some of Deadmaus's setup and Earth eind and fire then finish with RTJ and all of Odesza.
I am not about the mau5... At. All. I have seen RTJ also, just a couple weeks ago. I would see them every time I have the chance, fuck conflicts.
I've seen Deadmau5 enough and not really into him anyways either, but I wanna at least see his setup and I'd see anyone playing on the What stage late night for at least a bit. Odesza is must see for me and Earth Wind and Fire I have to see at least 30 mins of. Good news is, I know I can get close to someone at midnight because I'm fine with missing the end of Kendrick if not most of it, depending on who is on at midnight. If I can get front row fro RTJ like I did at counterpoint, I'll do it.

I think its safe to say STS9 will be playing for a long time. They may overlap with FlyLo, but you'll have plenty of time and space to groove at STS9 after your heads still buzzing from Flylo.
Ive never seen RTJ and I cant wait to see them latenight. Hoping for an Odesza conflict with them.
Not a fan of Bassnectar and a chance to separate all the kids away from talking during D'Angelo's whole set is just fantastic. Slayer conflicting with the Superjam is what im afraid of.
Ive seen them since murph left and it was not good.. At all. So heavily filled with cheesy electronic synths. I know they have always been electronic to some degree but i truly felt like the only one doing anything on stage was the drummer. Is sts9 2.0 something brand new or is that just a way to signify the post-murph group?
Flying Lotus is cant-miss and has been since he decided to start playing shows. A rare talent and personality to say the least.
As for Friday, really want to see STS9, MSM&W, AND EWF. Hopefully all three won't be playing at the same time so I can see 2/3.
Saturday..not so sure, definitely the Superjam (impatiently wait for the artists/theme). Maybe Tycho and D'Angelo if possible, though I'm barely familiar with either.

This is just a curiosity question. I don't plan on attending Deadmau5 for too long, if at all, given how conflict heavy my Friday night may be, but had there been a pit line for LNWhat stage acts in the past?
I was really hoping for a SuperJam > Brown Sabbath LN to keep the formula from 2013's SuperJam > Bustle.
Now I will probably get a peak at deadmau5's set before heading to EWF on Fri. Then do whatever I need to do to get a decent spot for he SuperJam on Sat.

I'm a huge STS9 fan so take that for what it is- but Tribe 2.0 is widely considered better then when Murph was with the band. They are exploring their catalogue more than they have in 12 years (playing songs that haven't been touched live in many years), doing amazing/random covers (Beyonce- Crazy In Love and Isley Brother- Between the Sheets for Valentines show) and overall they seem to just be having much more fun on stage. This is mostly credited to the new bass player Alana Rocklin. She was once the bassists for Jim James' solo album tour- and part of the 2013 Superjam. The band has stated in interviews that her knowledge has allowed the band to expand. For New Years Day they did a complete improv set- Its absolutely amazing and completely organic sounding- and something that would have never happened with Murph. He was very much against "jamming" later in his time with STS9. They are kinda the reason I have my ticket this year- my first ever show was Bonnaroo sunrise.

Tribe 2.0 is absolutely the truth. Completely reinvigorated my love for the band. I've seen them twice since they added Alana and they were the two best Tribe shows I have seen.

I'm pretty excited for STS9. They account for one of my first "bonnaroo moments". I believe it was 2003, my first Bonnaroo. I showed up Friday and all my friends were totally exhausted and were unconscious before the late nights started. I went to the STS9 set (might have still been going by Sound Tribe Sector 9 at the time) and Mike Gordon sat in with the band. My little fried Phish phanboy brain could barely handle it.
Since then I haven't caught a great deal of STS9. Seen them live here and there, but generally my music obsessions were directed elsewhere.
But from all accounts I've read, and backed up by comments in this thread, Murph leaving the band has completely rejuvenated the remaining members. Really really excited to see what they bring to Bonnaroo. I'll never be too old to start obsessing over a new band, so lets do this!
STS9 and Slayer are easily my two top priority LN shows of the weekend. Very happy they are on different nights.
