Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
... Actually, documentaries do make a huge difference. If you don't like the ham sandwich Sheriff Myers, please tell me a way in which to word it better. But I cannot be accountable for the lack of intelligence or conveyance in tone of the FBI agents. They've lowered the standards for entrance into their academy so there aren't many Harvard grads investigating Tennessee drug corruption, sorry to say...
I think you missed the bit in bold.
It think you missed that we are in the planning stage and are looking for people to help do the shoot in May and June. Would you like to be part of this, if no,t there is no reason to argue. I respect your decisionto do what you want
I'll go ahead and tell you. You are one shitty filmmaker if you are coming onto a Bonnaroo message board trying to recruit people for your super secret project.
Actually, trying to film in the backwoods hill country of Tn. could be quite dangerous. Meth manufacturers don't fuck around. You have seen "Winter's Bone" correct? Same shit here. I would NOT recommend anyone trying this.
And other than a 30 mile proximity, and the opportunity to get some publicity, I fail to see the tie in with Bonnaroo.
I'm afraid we are not your target audience. But if Adam is innocent, I hope he gets a new trial and is exonerated.
FBI agents....investigating Tennessee drug corruption
From the FB page
What pill bust? What drug corruption investigation? When I read the www.exonerateadambraseel.com I didn't see anything about this having something to do with a bad deal? Or how said deal was in anyway tied to Bonnaroo. Reading over that FB page I can't help feel that it's author has an interest in 2 disparate stories and is trying to link them together through Roo because legend has it that Roo is a giant drug induced free for all that the local cops camp outside of and harass anyone with an out of state plates. From everything I've read these things are not related.
Are you implying that Adam's wrongful incarceration is the result of a county sheriff (whose jurisdiction is not Coffee county) covering up for his involvement in drugs running through the town that were suppose to be on there way to Bonnaroo?
From the info available it sounds like lazy impersonal cops sticking to a bullshit investigation and feeling OK with sending someone who didn't commit a crime to prison for life. AND THAT IS HORRIBLE. SHIT LIKE THIS REALLY HAPPENS! But what it has to do with Bonnaroo, or drugs that may be destined for Bonnaroo....I guess what's not clear to me and is bothering me about this is how are you or the film maker linking them together?
We have our own investigator, and I thought what you did until I discovered the the feds found the body? This is highly unusual. So where are they located, in Tullahoma. I cant discuss everything in the open, it is too hot. But you seem like person who is smart. OM if you want to know more.

This shit just gets more and more weird. I noticed on the website set up for Adam that the coroner for Malcolm was Dr. Bruce Levy (they spelled it Levi, which is wrong). Dear Bruce Levy was convicted of official misconduct in 2010 and lost his job as chief medical inspector for the state of Tn. He was caught stealing drugs from the evidence closets, as well as allowing a television show to videotape autopsies without families’ permission. I remember when all this hit the fan.
What is so awesome is the man Levy replaced. "Levy replaced Dr. Charles Harlan, who had his medical license revoked for misconduct. Complaints against Harlan included incomplete examinations, botched cases and macabre personal behavior that included storing body parts in his laundry room." WTF?
So maybe they should try to get a mistrial based on the crazy ass medical examiner we had at the time, instead of trying to make a film about drug addicted hillbillies.

Goddamit I was done with this thread! Where are you getting this info from? Which website? And I'll admit to my morbid curiosity about why a doctor would store a body part in their laundry room and where.
This is for real. And there is the un fortunate fact that there is an innocent man in jail as we speak.
Two years ago I was camping in the hills after Bonnaroo, just minding my own business. Sherriff Myers framed me for some BS. His corrupt actions resulted in my kids being taken away and me put on the sex offender registry. I don't live in TN but will do whatever I can to help. Just let me know.
Good, please get in touch with us on the site, Coffee county is where the operation was being investigated, although the murder was in Grundy, to clear up confusion. This will be shot in MAY JUNE. And of course it is interesting how the Grundy folks got a piece of the action in Coffee County.

I think you would be better served to make your objective a bit clearer, post the links to the story and things that have been published so far. I had to search for things on my own and I'm still confused about the connection between Bonnaroo and this trial.
If you read through the link you posted you will see that the feds found the body of the murdered man. A purported and notorious hydrocodone dealer named Malcom Burrows who was also a Mayoral candidate. The feds are out of Tullahoma, in Coffee and it is very "unique" for them to be on a murder scene in a local jurisdiction, especially 30 minutes away as you say. Our best info is that the operation was botched by the Sheriff on purpose while feds were trying to stem the tide of drugs from Burrows, coming from Grundy up to Coffee and of course the millions to be had surrounding the festival. Do you think they cared what went on in Grundy?
We know that this kid did not get a fair deal and he was caught in the middle of a high $$$ deal that no one wants to talk about So take that as you want. The name is not a cheap shot but from our best info of the connections. You can see by at least one poster that he stepped of the grounds and got railroaded.
And hydrocodone is not a big seller at Bonnaroo. As to whether your client got a raw deal, that will be for a judge to decide. But please don't expect us to help you smear Bonnaroo's name in the mud with your documentary. Like I said, wrong audience here.

I really thought this thread was about a shitty, low budget horror movie or something being filmed in the "hills" around Bonnaroo. It could be a mix of Blair Witch and The Hills Have Eyes, set during a big music festival taking place with big boobied chicks and young, good looking people getting axed while having sex in the woods. The murderous, maybe even cannibalistic, mutants could be wooks, spun out bros and brahs, and washed up musicians of former festival days who all accidentally took a bad batch of something and were left behind.
Honestly, this all went through my head in trying to understand what this (thread) is all about.
Unless you can definitively link this murder to Bonnaroo, you're going to peeve off AC Entertainment and the people who go to Bonnaroo by using this title. Yeah, maybe you'll catch a few people off-guard when the movie first comes out and they'll watch it for the Roo connection, but when they find out you've baselessly indicted Roo in some sort of drug ring, they will lambaste you in the reviews. I wish you the best of luck on getting justice for this guy, but I highly suggest you find a different angle.

Bruce Levy was the medical examiner for the state of Tennessee at that time. Unless there was a Bruce Levi that worked in the hills of Bonnaroo as a medical examiner also, I think it's spelled wrong.
