I've heard of this fest and it seems pretty good; I read an article about it once that really played up the close-knit vibey vibes that a lot of the bigger festivals don't have. I doubt I'll ever get up there though. =/
Yea vibes are unreal there, its a mix of British Columbia kids and people traveling from all over the world, capped at 11,000 people last year on a family farm with no corporate sponsorship. Everyone there tries to contribute to their neighbors experience whether through gifting or positivity. Everyone dresses up at night and there are a ton of attendee produced events like Day Onesie or Caturday Morning disco. Music runs 21 hours a day once things are in full swing. River runs through the farm for daytime chilling which is fantastic. It is cheaper than you think, round trip flight from Washington DC to Spokane WA was only $600 last year, prob cheaper for you if flying out of Newark or NYC. Ticket is around $300. Supplies at Walmart and drive 3 hours north, you can do it!!
Seems like a great idea for an early Fall electronic fest. Airfare + car rental (split 2/3 ways) + $325 seems pretty reasonable. Just need to make sure my passport is good!
C'mon now, There's gotta be some people on here attending with me. Shameless bump. Anyways initial headliners announcement set to come out next month and full lineup by 4/20. If anyones on the fence, make it happen!

This fest is on my Must Attend at Least Once list, just not this year. It does look incredible, and my wife and I could turn it into a week-long vacation and do some exploring out there.

Yea thats one of my biggest regrets not exploring more of what BC has to offer. The problem is Im usually flying out on a Monday and returning the following Tuesday so its tough squeezing more time into the trip. Its not exactly close to Salmo but Vancouver Island looks particularly intriguing
