Cross Marilyn Manson and Smashing Pumpkins off for Voodoo as the pre-sales just went on sale for Monday July 10 at Champions Square. I haven't seen either of these bands before, so I'm pretty excited to have grabbed one for me. GA standing in the back is $25.50 (plus ticketbastid $13 fee), and there is a ton of reserved seating which is in the 60's plus fees. if anyone wants presale, PM me. Tickets otherwise on sale tomorrow.
I can't believe you have never seen them! They both have been here multiple times. Good on you for snagging tickets. I am too broke right now to buy any. I only have Citibank presale codes if anyone is looking.

Wish it was a weekend I'd go for sure. Never seen either. I like Corgan, he's always great on Stern.

Saw Manson at Voodoo in '03 or '04, good show from my hazy memory. Almost got ran over by mounted LEO trying to cross some little bridge, scared the shit out of me. Iggy Pop was defiantly the highlight of that night though.
On another note, just got Alt-J at champions square for 10/7. Couldn't find a presale code, but one is not needed if you use the LiveNation mobile app.

Yeah scratch Alt-J off the Voodoo wish list. I saw Manson in the 90s/00s, once with Type 0 Negative and once with Korn. I would love to see them again. SP was one of the worst concert experiences of my life due the Lakefront Arena being smoke free for their show and douchebag security guys.

Thanks man. This concert is kind of at the level of I'd be willing to drive to New Orleans for it (I'm two hours east of you in Mobile) but not any further. I did consider the Atlanta date but the following weekend I'm hitting three Phish shows in Atlanta > Tuscaloosa. That's enough travel for me.
So stoked about the Pumpkins/Manson tour. I hope there's a great 90's alternative tour every year of the caliber of this and NIN/Soundgarden last year.
Need a tour of Faith No More/Jane's Addiction or The Cure/ PJ Harvey next

I am crossing fingers that FNM will be at Voodoo this year... along with Tool and Deftones, making Voodoo the #1 fest of 2015.

This one isn't the same caliber as NIN/Soundgarden but I agree there should be more tours like that.

Gotcha. Someone hit me up about that 3 day run yesterday. I'm going to be too broke from Waka/Bonnaroo at that point, so there's no feasible way for me to do that. I was able to work my work schedule next week to be in Pensacola on Thursday and then I gotta drive down to Apalachicola on Friday, so I am 99% in for Coal Chamber Friday night in Pensacola. This year, despite a lot of repeat shows at festivals, is turning into a scratch a ton of rock and metal stuff off the list year - Panic, The Who, Manson, Pumpkins, Coal Chamber, Slipnkot, Hatebreed, etc. \m/

You know those are my 3 top rock wants too. Voodoo will rule with any 2 of the 3 as well.
You know there was going to be darkness and evil on Halloween night. Last year we had Slayer. If we get Sabbath, that is going to completely rule. Black Sabbath, Tool, Refused and Faith No More? Please, please please?
Also, what do you have for electronica this year? Old Euro house guys? Deadmau5? Since Hard has taken over that side, it's been more or less big names each year (without making any particular value judgment). All else I've got to say is:
Nobody will ever let you know When you ask the reasons why-y-y They just tell you that you're on your own Fill your head all full of lie-ie-ies \m/

You forgot Deftones... I'd take Crosses ††† instead also.
Not usually. Obviously that's a day to see the EDM headliner instead. But no way that can be Halloween. So there's still hope for some death, doom and darkness. Voodoo, while it will share some headliners, is usually kind of its own thing. With Zac involved with so much other stuff, it ends up being a pretty generic get. :mad2:

This is so unusual for Voodoo. I really hope he isn't a headliner, but a pre-hl. He doesn't feel like a Voodoo headliner to me. More like in the Kid Rock spot from 2013, or Manchester Orchestra/John Butler Trio last year spot. I really do hate ZBB.
