LMAO. When I die, I want to go to hell. Cause I'm a piece of sh*t...
Still nothing from anyone in the city. Nothing on COS. Nothing on Reddit. I can't believe so little has slipped through the cracks. Usually by this time we have at least 5 or 10 known artists. We know of 2 or 3 (including Ozzy) playing in that superjam (Superjam plays Sabbath??).
I mean we can use our skills of deduction and figure that Elle King, MR MS and Royal Blood will be in the undercard acts. I'm sure if you look at Riot Fest, Lolla, ACL we could figure out cross over acts. But yes, this is the most tight lipped Voodoo has been in awhile. My source for info, forgot to pass it along and only remembered the Ozzy, Slash thing.

ACL didn't have much cross last year though, but they did cross some stuff this year to Voodoo's last year. Lolla was Artic Monkeys, Outkast, Desert Noises, Manchester Orchestra, Lindsey Lowend, Shorty, Crass Mammoth, Skrillex, John Butler Trio and I think J. Roddy though they may have been elsewhere. That's a pretty large amount of acts. Of the top several lines (and without looking up tour dates)
McCartney - Not going to happen Metallica - Played 2012 Florence - ??? Sam Smith - Probably not going to happen Bassnectar - Played last 2013 The Weeknd - ??? alt-J - ??? Alabama Shakes - ??? Of Monsters and Men - ??? Kaskade - ??? Kid Cudi - ??? Alesso - Hope not Tame Impala - Just played a few weeks ago in town A$AP Rocky - Just played Buku 2015 Brand New - Sold out quickly last time through TV on the Radio - Just played Buku 2015 NERO - ??? Dillon Francis - Played Mad D last year so is a possibility
Someone at work told me she was reading where they might push the announcement back til 4:00pm. I'm not sure why they'd do that since daytime is really when you would think they'd want the news to drop rather than in the late afternoon.

Brand New is playing with Manchester Orchestra in October. I haven't heard 4pm, I heard pushed back till tomorrow. But Facebook still says today.
Check their comments: " A passcode will be released with the lineup today. "
What does that even mean?
I want to babyshake these young dildos in charge of social media for festivals. Just release the damn lineup, there doesn't have to be some stupid gimmick attached.
Passcode will probably be for tickets you would think since they took them off sale until the announcement.
Once the lineup is dropped the passcode will be available to buy tickets they stopped selling a couple months ago. I'm wondering what price tier they'll be selling tickets.
IDK. I'm thinking they'll open back up around $150/weekend. I always do the pre-sale for $99+ fees since I know I will be going anyway. I think they eventually get up to $250 or $275, but that $99 in advance is a steal for what you get. Despite all it's glitches and endless b.s., it still completely rules. And since Halloween is a Saturday, I'll have to figure out a costume (preferably one I can drink in).
Seems like you would just make it easy to buy tickets to the event you are trying to sell a ton of tickets to instead of adding an extra step. That's just me though.
I'm prob gonna wait until October to buy a ticket off someone that bails. If the lineup is epcot I'll go ahead and get on the payment plan for LOA maybe.
The thing that sucks about LOA is that you can't even get in there for the headliners unless you've been posted up and the people in there are generally lame and just standing there. DEF not gonna be around those people for Ozzy.
Awesome coincidence; I just started streaming the Bonnaroo 80's superjam off of www.sugarmegs.org (bookmark this site y'all) and as I'm typing this they start playing Crazy Train!!

Today is gonna be a good day for us.
Other than foo I've never had issues getting in LOA.
Metallica was too crowded to move as well. In general I'm gonna be getting there either right on time or a little late bc I'm at another band.
Crazy Horse though, Longinus and I posted up for that and we were reallllllllly close, it was unreal.
I was up close for OutKast. I have only experienced not being able to get in for Foo Fighters, nobody else and I never camp out. And when I say can't get in, I couldn't get in the LOA area at all!
Like it was at capacity? I got in during Foo's, saw what a clusterfuck it was, then I left and went and got right on the rail for London Souls in LOA next to two hot British chicks and got my face melted. Then I went for Pretty Lights but couldn't get in their LOA.
I got pretty close to Foos later in the set, I wiggled my way in there right in the middle right before Shorty came out. I asked the guy next to me "Has Trombone Shorty come out yet?" Guy: "who's that? No one's come out." 5 mins later he walks out and dude is looking at me like I was some epic insider, lol

Looking at the Ozzy and Friends setlists and that would be really effin rad. Hopefully they change the lineup from that up a bit though, with Brad Wilk on drums instead of Tommy Clufetos. And Geezer Butler on bass.
