Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I would use the term "brunch" lightly. It really is just them handing out old biscuits and different meats, from what I've experienced in the past. If this has changed, please let me know because I'd love to get excited about the brunch.

First time going to Bonnaroo ever. It'll be myself and my husband. I won a contest to Hangout Fest last year with Super VIP passes so I'm spoiled to the idea of VIP (we love perks) lol! We are both super excited!

Feel free to join us at the Sparkelfart VIP camping group Lindsey. A fun bunch and always good to have a group when coming back to the camp. There's a separate thread with details.
Quick question for you VIP veterans. My GF and I are doing VIP this year and a good friend of ours is now thinking about coming. She will do GA and camp with her brother. However her brother is going down on Tuesday. Our friend cant go till Thur morning with us. Will there be a problem with her coming in with us in our car and then walking over to her brothers POD?
My understanding is GA can't come in with VIP - she can, however be dropped off and hoof it to GA, but that may be a bit of a walk. I'd suggest trying to find other GA peeps for her to come in with if at all possible. Then again I could be totally wrong.
That seems ridiculous IMO but not sure. It seems like if she came in with us then she would need to leave VIP. a little much to ask her to hoof it to GA
They don't check the wristbands until you get into the VIP campground and get your car searched. I was thinking maybe you could just have her jump out when you get to where the BFE path crosses the main road and she would just have to take the path to the arch to find her brother, but then how would she get her wristband activated? Yeah, you might have to drop her off at day parking or something.
Looking at the 2014 vip map, you can probably drive in, then she can jump out just before the VIP car search entrance area and trek it to GA. It's still a solid haul, though.

Havent seen this map before. Do they give you one of these when you get there?

I can't remember exactly, but I think it's in the packet of stuff you get with your wristbands... I may be totally wrong on that, though. Last year was my first VIP, so I'm still fuzzy on the pre-Roo stuff
Two girls coming to Bonnaroo for our senior trip. We are staying in VIP. Any thoughts on connecting with a camping group before we get there. Of course our main concern is safety and there is always safety in numbers.

First time for my wife and I at Bonnaroo, we though VIP was just too good to pass up.
How, uh...thorough is the car search?
For VIP it was very easy last year. I'm not sure I saw any sheriffs at the VIP entrance. In GA we have been pulled aside for a random sheriff search was VERY thorough, but I'm not sure that happens in VIP.
