Btw, in relation to the PL Kalliope show, did any of y'all go to the Skrillex one last year? If so, I was wondering how crowded it was (just cause I didn't go last year and I'm wondering if it's gonna be a really crowded show
We have a big local 80's night in Columbus that often morphs into an early 90's dance party (with some late late 70s thrown in for good measure early in the evening) -- all to the chagrin of some 80's purists I know. I'm not too surprised or perturbed at the extension into other decades, even though they'd confirmed a slightly different theme. Should be interesting and worth a stop.

Looking at the Youtube vids of it it doesn't look like it was too crowded, I expect that to change now that the cat is out of the bag though.
But pretty lights just won't be the same without his pretty lights.
I believe the reason that he costs so much to book is because he brings all his own lights, equipment, etc... so i would bet he'll still be bringing the heat... and by heat i mean lights!!!!

Between Earth, Wind & Fire and this 80s Dance Party, there will be more 80s dance music at this Bonnaroo than anytime since the one in '87 when Duran Duran and Nena headlined and Kajagoogoo had that epic late night set.

Skrillex was unannounced and came on at like 6:30-7ish with the sun coming up IIRC so yeah an announced PL set would definitely be more crowded. Haven't seen where PL has a confirmed time on the Kalliope though.

Tis is what I'm thinking. Also, it's not often that I get to provide new, unknown info, but I've connects telling me that PL will indeed be doing a Kalliope set at Roo. I'm not guaranteeing this and I'll try to find out what day/when the set will be, juts figured I'd give little bit of info
This does suck. I'm assuming Flume and D'angelo play till 4 at least though. As excited as I was to see Flume. His Sasquatch review seems like he hasn't changed his show from when I saw him last year. Love his music, but he really is basically just a dj playing tracks. No crazy visuals or live mixes that make it unique. I can miss him from this Superjam! DMC! Hell Yeah!

Why do you think that? Do you have any inside info that that's the case? I don't see that happening...
