It's pretty sad that people going to Bonnaroo don't know who Eric Krasno, Oteil Burbridge, John Medeski and Karl Denson are. If that was the band, with the Snarky Puppy dude on drums, I'd still be there over all the other options. Things have certainly changed.
One of my favorite moments at Bonnaroo was watching Gov't Mule and John Paul Jones cover No Quarter. A girl leaned into strumntheguitar and asked if he "knew who that guy was". She was sporting a Led Zeppelin shirt.
The fact she was wearing a Zeppelin shirt makes this specially funny/embarrassing, but I'll be honest I wouldn't be able to recognize the bassist of most of my favorite bands, and I don't think I'm alone in that.

I was assuming it would be Pretty Lights on Which but I've heard say that there would be issues with his stage set up...

Social Experiment secret show? Where did the poster go that said he knew the guitarist? They said they were going to ask him....
I sent him an email, but he hasn't been gotten back to me. The more I think about it, he probably won't be able to tell me anyway, I'm sure he has had to sign a NDA for any kind of secret show. But will let everyone know if he tells me anything.
Im thinking Chance might have a surprise set... I have zero reasons to believe this except for the let down last year due his sickness. Also, his new album dropping seems in line with a surprise performance.

Yea that was kind of my thought as well. It would make the most sense. I thought about putting CHANCE in all caps in my response.
I plan on nothing - but I hope that for some contractual reason New Basement Tapes cannot be billed on the lineup but there is a collab of NBT late night Friday.
