Future islands?!?! TV on the radio! Modest mouse! DCFC! I'm not over it. I'm happy with a ton of the announcements, but damn. I knew when they (FI & TvOTR) were announced at hangout we wouldn't get them, but it still stings. Damn

ALt-j, grimes, panda bear, weezer, death cab for cutie, beach house. I hate to say it because I'm loyal to bonnaroo, but coachella's lineup completely blows bonnaroo out of the water.

Oh yeah the lack of Thundercat, Gaslamp Killer, and BADBADNOTGOOD is UNACCEPTABLE! Those were my dream back to back Thursday acts and to have none of them at all makes me sad. Maybe one of them will get announced later on but I don't get my hopes up for that sort of thing. Also is it just me or does this lineup seem kinda small right now?

Refused, but just the fact that they were even a strong possibility is great news. Playing shows again (Las Vegas), so maybe I can see them again. I can't be too mad cause I saw them in 2012 in Chicago but I had this idea that they'd play Mastodon's slot from last year during Mumford and Sons (Kanye slot). I'm still holding on to a thread of hope they get on in the additions. Seeing Slayer made me believe it even more because they were huge fans of Slayer when they first started in the 90s and they would probably love to play a festival that they shared a bill with

This for sure! I thought Primus or some form of Less was a lock. Whelp at least I'll get to see them in ATL for the Sweetwater 420 fest. I guess we can truly put a fork in the Prince thing, that dude ain't never gonna play Roo (not that I was expecting him on the lineup anyway).

I've found today that my biggest disappointments are bands that we all thought were very likely/confirmed to be there (Death Cab, Modest Mouse, Beach House, RL Grime). I'm still a little bitter about Panda Bear and Ratatat as well. St. Vincent, Tame Impala, & Weezer would have been really nice.
I'm selfishly bummed about the lack of either Charli XCX or Marina and the Diamonds, although I know nobody here cares about them.

Tears for Fears. The nail in the coffin seems to be the radio clue "time for a bath." They are from Bath, England.

Agreed. Sure, there are other acts that I would've loved to have but knew were very unlikely (e.g. Sufjan). But going into BLAM, I thought Death Cab and MM and RL Grime were basically locked already. I was expecting Lorde or Lana or St. Vincent too. Missing out on all of those is definitely disappointing.
