I could use any tips that anyone has. I don't feel like scouring the Coachella forums but I will I guess, I shouldn't take my laziness out on all of you.
Are you camping?
It's a really easy festival. It gets cold at night so bring warm clothes. Bring bandannas in the (likely) event of dust storms. It won't rain so don't worry about bringing boots. If you're taking the shuttle factor in a bunch of extra time beyond just the distance the bus is traveling.
Otherwise everything is close together so hopping from stage to stage is easy, and all the tents have screens so people don't cram close to the front too badly (except headliners).

No, I'm hotel-ing, so I assume it's even easier. Bandannas, sweatshirts, no boots - got it.
I'm driving/parking, which Billy told me was easy enough.

Also there's a Mexican restaurant in the back of the craft beer garden that's fairly decent and air conditioned.
You have to drink beer in beer gardens, so if getting drunk is important smuggle in booze. There are good views of the main and the outdoor stages from the beer gardens as well, so you can schedule in beer time while watching acts on those stages.

Have you rented a locker yet? You'll definitely want to do that to stash your daytime/nighttime stuff & merch & smuggled booze in, otherwise you'll be loaded up like a pack mule all weekend. The lockers are inside the fest, so using them is very convenient. They also have charging and changing stations for locker patrons. www.lockersonline.com/
They do sell out every year before the fest, so if it sounds appealing you should snag one asap.
If you download the Coachella VR app you can see where Despacio is gonna be. It shows it right next to the "boutique", I don't know enough about the grounds to really have any idea where that is though.
Big fan of that location. It's far enough from the main stages, so hopefully it won't get that crowded.
Its pretty much the farthest away from every stage.. only thing that would worry me is depending what time they run it, a bunch of people from the campground could fill it up quickly
Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, but walking around the first morning of the fest, when the venue grounds are pretty empty, in bare feet is actually really awesome.

Have passes started shipping yet? I'm Weekend 2 and I just updated my shipping address to send it to work instead of home; I'm assuming it will get in the system on time...

You're probably fine because weekend 2 hasn't started yet, but the deadline for changing your address was end of February so keep an eye on it when you get your shipping notification.
