So many people I know don't want to attend Coachella because of the purported crowd vibez, so I'm really curious to form my own opinion when attending next year.

Two friends of ours who have attended multiple Bonnaroos and other fests with us refused to come on the trip due to the "Coachella crowd." I'm not too worried. Bonnaroo crowds can be fucking terrible.
As someone whos attended multiple Coachella's I think it's fair to characterize allot of the Coachella crowd at shows as lackluster. But I don't think it's enough to ruin all the great shows they have every year though I understand how it can be for some. I'm more of the opinion that a great crowd can elevate a good show but not that a bad crowd can ruin a good show.
Also, Joey Bada$$ is the goddamn truth, and I am curious as to how he'll be live
Maybe it was an off day, but he was very low energy at Fun Fun Fun last year, so I left mid-set. It may have improved and the scene at the Polo Grounds might invigorate him.

A truly bad crowd can ruin a good show. Case in point: when I saw Hundred Waters, in their goddamn hometown nonetheless, the lead singer repeatedly asked the crowd to stop talking. She even asked, "Do you guys even want to be here?" As their first show back since getting semi-popular, I was ashamed of Gainesville that night.

FWIW, the last time I attended Bonnaroo, the crowd was way more obnoxious than a Coachella crowd. There are shitheads in every group, it's a fact of life. You'll get the dickheads pushing to the front when they arrive late, the large groups linking arms and pushing through the crowd together, the people on phones, the people taking selfies, the people talking, it doesn't matter what large fest you're at. The only difference between Coachella's crowd and Bonnaroo's crowd is that at Coachella, a lot of the obnoxious behavior is confined to the Sahara acts.
Have you been to Bonnaroo while the Kalliope has been there? It does this at a smaller scale.

I agree with that. I meant more a bad crowd as in not everyone being super into it singing along to every song, dancing etc, which I know for some would be a bad crowd. Which I personally find bizarre, but hey different strokes.

Agreed. Festivals are marathons, not sprints, and you can't be jacked up every second unless you're on really speedy drugs.
Saw St Germain this past weekend and I advise you all to be at this show. High energy set, great flow and his band was magnificent. All talented musicians from across the globe.

I have to say, Coachella is slacking on this whole ticket thing.
Not even having a shipping notification two weeks from weekend 2 is unprofessional. They're putting a whole lot of faith in the US Postal Service at that point. And its an extra inconvenience to me because if I don't have a notification by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to have to call to try and get my tickets switched to Will Call because we're leaving next week to start our vacation.
I know it "happens every year" but its been the one negative, borderline worrisome spot leading up to an awesome weekend.

Are you camping? I'm hearing there's a problem shipping camping passes.

Yeah, I'm camping. Kind of weird that an extra sticker is the issue.
Edit: Went ahead and emailed them. Thanks for the advice/responses.
I like to go in there during downtime and get off my feet and sit on their couches under a water mister while drinking a beer. I dont usually bother with the musical acts though.
