I like getting my schedules way in advance, even if they do change a bit along the way.
Opposite for me! I muchhhh prefer it being correct and well thought out the first time. Coachella usually handles their schedule pretty masterfully, they can take all the time they need for that
Not sure how a piece of shit graphic with times that dont even line up correctly, making it nearly impossible to plan your day is "masterful".
Coachella's overall handling of their schedule is a giant piece of shit.

Three weeks in Germany and you're already bitching about slightly inaccurate timetables...

I don't care about the schedule layout at all, I meant they're masterful at not throwing out a bunch of heartbreaking conflicts despite having an amazing and packed lineup.

"Nearly impossible to plan your day" = having to look at the schedule for more than 30 seconds to determine who is playing when.
Yet, everyone goes apeshit trying to find the "blocked" schedule typically created on the Coach boards. They're schedule "images" are just plain fucking terrible.

i really can't imagine the schedule being that bad. worst possible conflict for me probably being beach house vs flume or the front bottoms vs louis the child.

I'll agree that the schedule is tricky to read when you're intoxicated. Or when you've had it in your pocket for three days.

I'm with CKS that Roo's method of "here's our schedule a month ahead... now watch us change it half a dozen times in as many weeks" is far more annoying than Coach releasing it when you may already be en route to the fest. You've got the day-by-day months ahead so you can make a rough game plan. The schedule format itself is terrible, though.
But I also think people plan out their schedules too much in general. You pick a few must-sees per day, do some research on the ones you don't know, and wander around to whatever sounds good. Who cares if you planned to see a dance act, but it's too damn hot and you just want to catch that folk duo?
Also, I can't believe how low Rufus are billed - they're massive here (both their LPs hit #1).

...what.
i'm just saying i don't see anything terrible happening like M83 vs 2manydjs or underworld vs LCD.

Pretty confident that there are going to be some significant conflicts.
Maybe it's just because I've made my peace with Friday, but Saturday is the day I'm worried about. There's a good chance I'll want to see every act that's on during GnR (which I'm not missing).
If you click the link it says that Kesha will make at appearance at Coachella.
this was actually helpful because I was too lazy to click it and assumed it meant her own set. So during Calvin then?
probably, maybe t swift asked him to do it. i probably wouldn't see her perform but i feel terrible about all this stuff with sony and dr luke. girl deserves her freedom.
