Seems like the Sahara has become similar to Perry's with the rap artists in there now
At first I chuckled when I saw they stuck G Easy there. Then I saw Vince Staples would be performing there. I might have to go rub elbows with the Bros if I was attending.
Really want to be in for that 90 minute Black Coffee set, plus Black Madonna, DJ Koze.
Sucks they conflict with people, but on the bright side Black Madonna and Black Coffee will be touring more in the U.S.
After a quick glance, I might be able to make it in for those. I haven't seen any Black Coffee US dates other than Miami, LA and the likes. I got excited when Songkick alerted me he would be in Houston. It ended up being some local rock band. I was heartbroken. The alert had his pic and everything.
I'll be on youtube this weekend to try and iron out a few conflicts, but as it stands now:
Friday Sheer Mag > Haelos > Lapsley or Skepta > Miami Horror > Beginning of Foals (I thought they had to play in the dark or something?) > 2manydjs > Underworld > The Last Shadow Puppets or Sufjan > LCD
Saturday (Really tempted to chill in the Yuma all day) Gogo Penguin > The Black Madonna > SOPHIE > Matthew Dear or RTJ > DJ Koze > The Arcs > Disclosure > Ice Cube > Rufus > GNR
Sunday De Lux > ???? > Kamasi Washington > Joywave > Tensnake > Digweed (with sasha?) or Melody's Echo Chamber > Anderson .Paak > Sia > Flume > Do Lab

Not going, but after looking I'm not sure why you all aren't complaining about conflicts. Every day has like 8 conflicts that make me want to murder children.

It's easier to put up with conflicts when there's always something that I want to see, which is the case, rather than everything I want to see being at the same time and then a bunch of down time where I don't want to see anything, which isn't the case (holy run-on sentence). Also I foresaw some of these conflicts I got tickets to see some acts solo, which eases the pain of having to miss them at Coachella

Surprisingly light on conflicts. If I were going my schedule would look like this:
Friday: Front Bottoms, Christine and the Queens, Of Monsters and Men, M83, Sufjan Stevens, LCD Soundsystem Saturday: Gary Clark Jr, Run the Jewels, Chvrches, Disclosure, Ice Cube, Guns n Roses Sunday: Rancid, Wolf Alice, Cold War Kids, The 1975, Alessia Cara or Anderson Paak, Sia

Also I just realized how fucking hilarious the crowd leaving Sufjan clashing with the crowd rolling in for Jack U is going to be on the Outdoor. That crowd for Jack U is going to be absurd and probably go as far back as the large white tent for eating under at the vendors.
Putting Deafheaven during Calvin Harris was a stroke of genius.
Come on. Stroke of genius is a bit far. Hard rock/metal as counter programming to Calvin Harris is a gimmie. I'll be at Nosaj Thing which is also great counter programming to that cheese.
But it is a great schedule.
One area that concerns me is Sufjan in between ASAP and Jack U. I hope Ellie Goulding and G-Eazy can drain enough of Jack U's crowd to keep the ravers away until Sufjan is finished.

Yeah that's the one downside of Sufjan cashing in and playing all these mainstream festivals for the first time in his career. I would make a point of getting a good spot up front for Sufjan to minimize disruption.
i really can't imagine the schedule being that bad. worst possible conflict for me probably being beach house vs flume or the front bottoms vs louis the child.
fuck me. beach house into flume will be really nice though
Anyone else concerned about soundbleed from Jack U during LCD? They go on at 10:05 and LCD is on at 11:10, would Coachella really only give Jack U 65 mins? I'd imagine you'll be able to get into the first 15-20 rows of the maintage with most of the fest being at Jack U, Rae Sremmund and Purity Ring will probably draw a decent crowd as well. Should have plenty of dancing room!

have the same question for calvin vs flume, anyone know what the soundbleed is like for the main and outdoor? considering some of flumes songs are pretty quiet

65 minutes sounds right for Jack U. Coachella sets are always shorter.
