Anyone else concerned about soundbleed from Jack U during LCD? They go on at 10:05 and LCD is on at 11:10, would Coachella really only give Jack U 65 mins? I'd imagine you'll be able to get into the first 15-20 rows of the maintage with most of the fest being at Jack U, Rae Sremmund and Purity Ring will probably draw a decent crowd as well. Should have plenty of dancing room!
have the same question for calvin vs flume, anyone know what the soundbleed is like for the main and outdoor? considering some of flumes songs are pretty quiet
The worst case of this I've experienced was Faith No More absolutely overpowering Hot Chip in 2010. If you weren't within 20 yards of the Outdoor all you could hear was Faith No More, not that I minded because I liked both. However, Calvin Harris's crowd will be MASSSSSSSSIVE, he'll easily have the biggest crowd of the weekend, take a look at last time he played the main stage, it was the biggest crowd they've ever had at the main stage.

sooooo you're saying it'll be easier for me to get close for flume? ? ?
It's not like LCD is quiet anyway. And they saved Dance Yrself Clean for the encore in all the warm up shows.
Sufjan Vs The Last Shadow Puppets seems like awful scheduling to me though, would they not have like 100% fan overlap? I don't mind too much cause I'll be seeing Sufjan with Rhye later this summer but that's a weird one.

Pumped for the stream as usual. If I could go though...
FRIDAY:
HEALTH--> Robert DeLong--> Bob Moses--> Foals--> The Kills--> Of Monsters & Men--> Underworld--> Surfjan Stevens--> Ellie Goulding (get a good spot for)--> LCD Soundsystem
SATURDAY:
Moon Taxi--> Gary Clark Jr.--> Run The Jewels--> CHVRCHES--> Courtney Barnett--> Disclosure--> Ice Cube (get a good spot for)--> Guns N' Roses
SUNDAY:
Young Fathers--> Kamasi Washington--> Joywave--> Wolf Alice--> Cold War Kids--> Chris Stapleton--> Beach House--> Miike Snow--> Deafheaven
Basic b*tch schedule for me but that's without doing any research on these undercard acts. Still would be stacked all day, each day.

I'm just catching the first 20 min of M83 (seeing them at Lolla) running my heart out to TLSP, catching the end of Sufjan, then getting a good spot for LCD. I imagine Ellie's fans will have a mass exodus making it possible for me to actually get a good spot with getting to the stage so late

I also have a feeling I'm going to be dragged into Calvin Harris (puke)
Calvin Harris is in my future as well. Maceo Plex is the only other thing I'm interested in, but not "go by myself to close the weekend" interested. Hopefully the DoLab surprise guests are compelling.

Yeah, my thinking is I could definitely get drunk and have a lot of fun at a Calvin show, while my friend I'll be there with would probably not enjoy any of the counter programming at all. Definitely hoping for a DoLab or Sahara surprise to close it down though.
Gonna do that thing where I list all the bands I want to see. I try to keep my list of bands I get really excited for small so I can manage the schedule better when it comes out. Sunday is still a little thin, but decent enough. If Saturday and Sunday were swapped I'd be ecstatic. There are 31 acts on Friday and Saturday I want to see, the schedule is gonna be a heart breaker.
Friday
Musts: LCD, 2mandydjs, Underworld
Want to see: Sufjan, M83, Foals, Purity Ring, St Germain, Savages, Last Shadow Puppets, Joey Badass, Christine and the Queens, Bob Moses, Ibey, Black Coffee, Nicole Moudaber & Skin, Health, Mavis Staples, Sasha, Goldroom, The Front Bottoms, Skepta, George Fitzgerald, Gallant, Lapsley, Mbonwana Star
Would check out (but in all likelihood will end up skipping for the above): Ellie Goulding, Jack U, the Kills, Rae Sremmurd, DJ Mustard
Saturday
Must: GnR, Grimes, Deerhunter, DJ Koze, the Black Madonna, GoGo Penguin, Algiers
Want to see: Ice Cube, Churches, Courtney Barnett, RTJ, the Arcs, Gary Clark Jr, Lush, Zhu, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Rhye, Bat for Lashes, Rufus du Sol, AlunaGeorge, BadBadnotgood, Ex Hex, Alvvays, Dubfire, Matthew Dear, Amine Edge & Dance
Would check out: Disclosure, Silverson Pickups, The Damned, Vince Staples, Shamir, Sophie
Sunday
Must: Sia, Maceo Plex, Despacio
Want/Would: Beach House, Rancid, HudMo, Kamasi Washington, Claptone, Melody's Echo, Anderson Paak, Deafheaven, Tensnake, Alessia Cara, Cassy, the Heavy, Joywave
Beats doing nothing: Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, Miike Snow, Chris Stapleton, Death Grips, Baauer, Meg Myers
Man, the more I look at this schedule, the more butt it is. Friday I'm relatively okay thanks to extreme managed expectations. On Saturday 6 out of my 7 must sees conflict (and the 7th, Black Madonna is too early). Then Grimes, Dubfire, BBNG during GnR blows (but at least I'm seeing Grimes next month), RTJ/Rhye/Deerhunter/Mathhew Dear/Bat For Lashes sucks.
For Sunday, Anderson Paak had become a must see, conflicts with Sia (and Alessia Cara), for the want to sees Joywave and Rancid are head to head, Kamasi vs. Claptone vs. the Heavy, and Tensnake/Autolux/Bauer is shitty too.
I'll make it work, but it's not "masterful" this year.

But then you're missing Underworld
I know I'll get murdered on this board for saying it but I'm not really that big on Underworld. I don't find them bad or anything and think they are one of the coolest gets for Coachella this year but I don't want to miss acts I want to see just to see a rare act.

Shout out to Juggs and Fred for being the only ones here I've seen list Savages on their Friday schedule. Really, what else is going on then that is worth missing Savages?
