I know this statement is said a lot, but GY!BE would HAVE to be late night. It was be too fucking awkward and weird if it were in the bright Tennessee sunshine.
Doubtful. But it would be great they are amazing live.
All dreams are pipe dreams at this point but AC has booked GY!BE in the past, Mountain Oasis to be specific.
Ok but Mountain Oasis is a much different fest both in the acts that it books and the fact that it is indoors. Didn't say it was impossible just don't see it happening.
there's gonna be so much butt hurt in this thread when only cafe act additions are added like last year.
Since we're missing about 20 tent/stage acts versus last year, what do you think Bonnaroo would do if they only added cafe acts like last year? Start a few hours later on Thursday? End the Fri/Sat tents an hour earlier? I just don't see that happening, but if it does then my butt will surely hurt.
well i counted 37 cafe act adds last year from the spotify setlist, so like i said, dont' get your hopes up.
FYI, the cafe acts were added 4/9/2014 if anyone's interested. so we probably got a bit of a wait.
2 of my favorite acts from last year were cafe acts also, and i knew them going in and was excited about it. i just dont' think we're getting anything but small venue club acts.

I don't think so, but you never know. I'm still leaning towards there not being as many additions as people seemingly think there will be. If we do, my thinking is that Roo will grab a few artists off of G's Ball.
We definitely could used a bit more hip hop. I know the lineup has enough electronic music, but I really want Jon Hopkins
For Hip Hop, I wanna see Jarren Benton. I'm seeing Hail Mary Mallon next weekend, but anything Aesop at the farm would be cool too, like "The Uncluded". If we get more EDM, I just want it to be unique, and not someone who is at every festival. Ghostland Observatory is playing one show again I see after the Aaron Behrans solo thing, so that would be a pretty cool add no one is talking about. Also, after watching some of the groups that are on the Psych fest lineup, I would love to see Lightning Bolt, Melody's Echo Chamber, or of course Tame Impala to be added.

In 2012, they announced additions in late april with cafe acts. Kenny Rodgers, Rodrigo y gabriela, and this was after they added 6 names in mid March(2-3 weeks away). Danzig, Puscifer, Santigold, Temper Trap, Fun, and The Cave Singers were all added in mid March. I feel we are definitely in store for an announcement in the next month for sure. We should start a thread for 6 possible acts that could logically be added based off those additions last time. I would say in bias fashion of course Tame Impala, Lana Del Ray, Ghostland Observatory, FKA Twigs, Panda Bear, and Lightning Bolt.
