Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
IMO this current lineup is weak as fuck. But that's just me, cause I don't enjoy shitty music like, bassnectar. What the fuck is a bassnectar?
Bassnectar is gonna be that one really loud thing going while I'm at Atomic Bomb!, Slayer, or the Superjam
For sure. I'll be at Slayer, with the cool kids, raining blood and sacrificing goats while you weirdos are dressed up in neon colors rubbing your faces with Vix to fucking Bassnectar.
We might be looking at numbers around 2008, but they won't have less than 70k there. No matter what, Bonnaroo itself is a huge draw for people. I'd happily take a less crowded year, but I don't think they are in any kind of trouble.

yea, i wouldnt think so either, but single day passes available in March? weird
is there proof to suggest there are single day tickets available? it would seem like a smarter decision to drop additional artists ahead of releasing single day tickets. single day tickets seem like your last load to blow in desperation. so much to manage, each single transaction has as much COGS as a 3 day ticket. Why take on that overhead ahead of trying to maximize your 3 day?

That's why they sent out the day schedule. The email subject was "...Single Day Tickets + Shuttle Passes" but this is nothing new. They have been doing this since working out that special deal with Nashville hotels, transportation, etc.
I don't think the single day ticket thing says anything special whatsoever about ticket sales.

With the lineup being released in January, I don't think typical dates count for much anymore.

You know you don't have to go if you think the lineup is bad, right?

Where did these numbers come from? 2011 was the most packed I've seen (I missed 2012), and it was sold out a month before. It was more than 5,000 different than 2010.

I planned on riding my Thunder Stallion back and forth between Slayer and Bassnectar during the noise apocalypse .
Am i the only one that feels the by day schedule release is a diversion to distract away from the fact that we still have NO additions. Or maybe my frustration level is just growing and this weed is making me paranoid.
It's probably just an excuse to make some kind of news. It's been 2 months since the line up, with very little announced about the festival besides a reddit AMA and food truck stuff or what'sver . We'll see more little semi meaningless announcements every few weeks from here on out. It's a marketing ploy to stay relevant in news feeds. The only people hanging by a thread for artist additions, are the people who inhabit this web site, and those hoodlums over on the Bonnaroo subredfit and ect. We're all just a small small fraction of the Bonnaroo population.

Well it looks like we're just going to have to wait and see what happens next Wednesday. Going by what Roo stated on the reddit AMA about additions in March and April, I fully expect first round to be before the month ends. I doubt art cars and the day by day lineup qualifies as additions.

1/30: Cold War Kids
2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists
6/11-6/14: BONNAROO 2015
6/28: Against Me!
6/30: Against Me!
I just don't get the hype about seeing them anymore. The new album sucked, and Kim is gone. She probably left because she knew the magic was gone. Sometimes it's best to just let things go.
They are the Pixies(!), some of us actually grew up listening to their music, hence the hype about seeing them. If they were added I would totally plan to see them, but I will not pay the $90 before fees ticket prices they are selling for here in NOLA. Especially without Kim.
I grew up listening to them as well. And that's what I'm saying - $90 tickets without Kim and hardly any new (actually good) material. I suppose it would be a treat for those who haven't seen them yet. I just haven't seen any output from them recently that doesn't seem like a retirement cash grab.

Yeah saw Styx two years ago...lets just say if they don't play I won't be crushed at all. 1karen1 is correct as well, they do not play Mr. Roboto (or Babe for that matter).
