I always wondered if he was serious when he said he was retiring that song in 06 after that show? But I also refuse to check setlists

Oh my god, I had no idea he said that. I'll go look and let you know he plays it. I will be SO bummed if he doesn't play it. He should appreciate that him having an orchestral arrangement would make it unique enough to perform it again. Or MAYBE he has retired it since then and because he will be back on the Farm for the first time with the new band, he will play it for the first time since then... Whatever the case, I hope plays because I'll be really bummed if he doesn't
Ok, I checked, he still he plays. He actually just played it at his last show in February so he plays it, but he doesn't play it often.

He stood on his piano at the end of his set and took a picture of the crowd, I found them selling numbered signed copies of them at the 08 roo and snagged one. Best picture I've seen of roo, one of the better day shows I've seen at which

Please please please don't be "that guy" at the Ben Folds set yelling "Bitches Ain't Shit" between every song. There's always at least one of those at his shows. I think yelling out requests is bad enough, but yelling out a request of a cover is borderline insulting to an artist. It's like yelling "Your songs aren't entertaining enough for me! Try someone else's song!"

Watch your tongue, I'd like to think that nobody on inforoo is ever "that guy." I fucking despise those people that do that. I've actually confronted people in the crowd before that were being belligerent and yelling to play Freebird and other shit like that. I'm a huge advocate for people playing whatever they want during their shows, whether they play all their hits (like most group) or you rarely get a couple of their big songs (like Neil Young.) It is the artist putting on the show therefore they should and do have all of the say on what gets played, whether they want to play to the crowds desires is their call.) I'm going to Ben Folds to see Ben Folds & yMusic, NOT to see "Bitches Ain't Shit." Therefore, I'm sure I'll walk away happy from the show, I'll just be extra happy if they play Bitches Ain't Shit.

The Smiths said it best... that joke isn't funny anymore. If it ever was in the first place.
There was some obnoxious drunk girl at the Alabama Shakes show a couple weeks back who kept pushing up on me, leaning over my shoulder and shouting mere inches from my ear with a volume only shitfaced people can achieve. She brought a giant poster board requesting Heavy Chevy, which blocked a lot of people's view - as if this was Glasto and that kind of thing was even remotely acceptable.
As if that wasn't bad enough, during the encore break, she stormed the staged to leave her sign on stage, at which point security promptly tackled her and escorted her outside. Karma's a bitch, innit?
I can't stand it when people yell requests. Drives me up a wall. I remember during Tom Petty in 2013 there was this young kid (like 13-15ish. Maaaaybe a young looking 16-17) who just kept screaming "American Girl!!!" over and over again. During songs, in between songs, during the break before the encore. It was so bad I finally just had to get away from him. Since he was a kid I couldn't really say anything to him, not that I would anyways but still. It was obnoxious.

The only thing that would've made it better would've been if they played heavy Chevy in the entire and she missed it because of her behavior
