They could just give the what to the button mashers on Friday night and have Kendrick inbetween on the Which, right? Yeah, didn't think so.
Hahaha, though I wouldn't care because I could just go to other shows, there would probably be a riot and everyone would cry about how "Bonnaroo has changed mannnn. It just isn't the same!"

I think the list of artists "big enough" to hold down a LN Which is pretty small. Note this list has nothing to do with appropriateness, just big enough-ness. Also excludes confirmed What headliners:
Florence Robert Plant MMJ (apparently not playing LN which per the band) Bassnectar Alabama Shakes Childish Gambino Flume (i guess) Hozier Ben Harper
I think thats it really. Wasn't sure whether to include Gary Clark Jr. He is a total badass though.
I think it's interesting that the above schedule is willing to put the 6th biggest act on the Which stage (yeah, I remember Buffalo Springfield) while at the same time allowing for an artist addition big enough to be the pre-pre-headliner on the What stage. Seems like you could easily put Plant before Flo, have Spoon headline the Which, and allow for a much more realistic which pre-headliner addition.
If you're referring to my mock, I could easily do a lot of things with it. It looks a lot different than it even did a week ago, and it'll look a lot different once we get some official confirmations from Bonnaroo.
As for allowing for artist additions, I think the gaps I have are par for the course (in fact, I think I'm actually being a little conservative). As it stands right now I'm leaving open the following "big" spots: a 2nd act of the day on Which, a pre-pre What headliner, one day tent closer, and an open LN slot. I'm not going to do a breakdown of the artist additions for every year, but I keep going back and looking at the 2011 schedule because there are a lot of similar artists to 2015. Feel free to check my work, but here is what I found going back to 2011...
ARTIST ADDITIONS Anthony B (opened the What stage Friday), NOFX (closed That Tent Friday), Dennis Coffey (opened the What stage Saturday), Black Uhuru (played the What stage after Dennis Coffey), Shpongle (LN Friday), Galactic (Sunday What stage pre-pre Headliner)
I think tears for fears are a ln which candidate right before bassnctar on Friday.
I agree. Though, I think it's realistic to think they could be a LN tent show as well (Billy Idol.) I honestly, don't give them LN in my mock because I fear the resulting conflicts. Speaking of, my mock will be posted soon

I don't see Flume being guaranteed a LN Which at all. Disclosure and Frank Ocean got stuck in the Other Tent last year, so I can't see Flume demanding a Which spot.

In my mind Disclosure is so much bigger than Flume. Last year when Disclosure got booked in a tent there was mania around here that people would get trampled and the tent would catch on fire and EVERYONE at the Disclosure set would die in bloody flames. If Flume gets put in a tent I don't see anyone making that same argument.
My money is still on Flume in a tent, but I guess I could see him on Which paired with another artist.

Ha, had completely forgotten about that! Some people were legitimately concerned that Bonnaroo didn't value the safety of their patrons.

Yeah, I didn't understand the concern, I think Flume's mainstream popularity is being highly underestimated around here, given it could've died down since it has been a bit since his album came out. But, especially if he releases a new album, I wouldn't be surprised by him getting LN Which, but I could see it going either way.
I'd say that Disclosure last year were much more popular than Flume is today. Latch was a major, major single and I don't think Flume has anything near as popular. I'd say he's a LN tent act for sure and I can't imagine how'd he procure a LN Which slot.

This would be a relatively conflict-free schedule for me. But the Bluegrass Situation Tent won't be that packed. Pokey Lafarge wasn't announced as one of the artists for it. I think he may appear in the superjam, but he won't be on the stage.

Flume is bigger than Disclosure at the moment. Inforoo isn't a good source of determining an artist's overall popularity for the festival.
Not sure I've ever heard Flume playing in public. Maybe I'm just not aware of the big songs, but I feel like everyone knows disclosure at least because of latch.
