Delicious Meatball Sub spoon are one of the groups on the lineup Ive been meaning to get into for a while. I dont really know anything outside of one or two songs. Where should I start?

Wow, you've certainly been making some questionable life choices, but you've come to the right place, Poppa Meatball Sub will get you fixed up.
As sang_xcx so helpfully mentioned, all of Spoon's catalog is great. But, as with all things Sang, even when he's right he's a little bit wrong. Spoon's first two albums (Telephono and A Series of Sneaks) have a much different sound than the rest of the discography, and are probably not worth digging into for a new listener. Everything from Girls Can Tell on is representative of their current style, and all those songs tend to get featured live.
Spoon's best three albums are probably Kill the Moonlight, Gimme Fiction, and Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.
Kill the Moonlight is (I think) the most critically successful and has a very spare, restrained style. The album always sounds like it's building up to something that never quite happens, intentionally, and it's amazing. Stand out tracks are The Way We Get By, Jonathan Fist, Back to the Life.
Gimmie Fiction was the follow-up to Moonlight. I'd recommend starting here. It has a slightly bigger sound, but doesn't over do it, and I think it's a bit more appealing to the average person without straying too far from their signature restraint. Stand outs: I Turn My Camera On, I Summon You, The Infinite Pet
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is probably their most popular album over all. They have a bunch of horns and shit in it, and it's got a little too much going on for my taste, but there are lots of non-idiots who claim it to be their favorite Spoon album, so what can I say? Standouts: The Underdog, Don't You Evah, Rhthm & Soul.
The new album is also pretty good, and I quite like Believing is Art and If There's Anything You Want off Girls Can Tell.

Way to sell him on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.
I think it's also worth mentioning the new album fits nicely alongside the top 3 albums mentioned.
I saw them in Central Park this past fall. It was a solid show. We were a little bummed that they didn't play "The Way We Get By" though. There was a big one more song chant at the end too, so a lot of people were expecting it. But they just bounced out. Still a fun time though,

Doesn't look like they played it at all last year.
Check that, played it at 2/3s of their shows. Just bad luck.
Britt Daniel is on the latest episode of WTF with Marc Maron. I'll be listening tonight.
So, Britt's experience growing up in Texas reminded me a lot of my own. I like how Marc called Austin a hipster Alamo where people like him could go to feel like they were among their own and how welcoming picking up the Austin Chronicle is upon arriving in town.

I'm pretty excited to see them. I finally listened to their new album like two weeks ago and im in love with it, i dont know why i hadn't gotten around to it sooner. had i listened earlier i probably would have saw them in december (have seen them twice previously before between transference and they want my soul). always solid live but the new album has bumped them up to pretty much top 5 to see, i think it may be my second favorite spoon album
They had a similar teaser for the first single and announcement of the last new album. It seems pretty soon, but I would be very excited for more new stuff. The last one is probably my favorite of theirs
They will be on Conan tonight. I'm hoping to hear a new tune.
Britt Daniel is replacing Andy Richter. Instead of yuking it up with Conan, Britt will just sit around and chuckle at his monolog with a detached air of superiority.

Could be an EP. They released a cover of "TV Set" (The Cramps) a few weeks ago, and they have been playing an unreleased song called "Satellite" at many of their live shows.
