It's looking like we will have some room in our Groop! Groop coming from Nebraska and most likely some from Chicago, ages ranging from 21-29, 2nd to 5th year Rooers. Last year was our first time together as a Groop and we had a blast! A great mix of people. Lost some members this year (and gained some) - looking to pick up some more members along the way!
Interesting that groop camping hasnt sold out as fast as last year. Reflection of ticket price increase (plus groop went from 35 to 40 if memory is correct), lineup disappointment or both? Maybe Roo is not going to be as crowded as recent years...
Thinking the same thing! I hopped on quick scared that it was going to sell out and bought a pass with only a small amount of people from our Groop last year confirmed for this year.

Hey everyone - glad to see there are some other people in the same boat! For background on our group, we're 24-27 yrs old, girls and guys, school friends and family, coming from all over the place (FL, NOLA, NC (Raleigh), ATL, NY).
Looks like we could have an NC contingent which could make cars easier to sort out

For another possibility, there has been a significant expansion in the amount of the map Groop has taken up since its inception. They may have either expanded it to where the supply is closer to the demand or they may letting it run without a limit with the idea that they will section off however much is needed later on. To be realistic, it only benefits them to allow as much Groop camping as there is demand for since they are getting an additional fee on top of the ticket price.

I think it would be a lot of fun to have everyone in one big group! First time we went it was just me my husband and brother. Although we had fun, I am looking to branch out and meet tons of new people!

also looking to join a group myself and 1 friend traveling down from NYC were both 23, first time at the farm but not new to festivals by any stretch of the imagination, want to get in a group with chill people who like to have fun and listen to all types of music, plus im a cook so you know I don't mind cooking up some awesome meals for the crew, we come fully prepared with everything so if anyone wouldn't mind to let us link up with them we would make a great addition!

It looks like my crew is going to be somewhere between 6 and 10 people, but we still have a lot of maybes, and can't nail down if everyone wants to do groop or not. I don't think I'll know in enough time to get a leader pass- so if anyone already has one, or plans to get one, and might be willing to let us in on that action, let me know! We plan to have a pretty awesome setup.

It sounds like we have a least a couple of people with passes and interested in combining groups, so anyone on here not trying to strike out on their own with a separate groop should be covered on passes

I have signed up as a Groop Leader, we now have 7 possibly 11 in our group. Coming from Raleigh, NC. Ages 18 - 23 and 2 Dead Head Moms (going to Chicago in July!!). Let me know if you are interested in joining our group. We have some ECU Pirates and LSU Tigers among us!!

The important thing is that everyone who wants to go in Groop Camping gets to go in Groop Camping. If you're having doubts about filling your group, they can merge groups together. So if you're having doubts, Gretchen Ross Experiment will be happy to merge.

My girlfriend and I are probably going to be looking for a groop to join. Last year was her first year but I have 6 under my belt. We are in our 30's, but fun nonetheless. Would like a well organized bunch. We will be coming from Cleveland.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
