Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just a word of advice, regardless of when you arrive at Roo. As soon as you park you are gonna want to start setting up camp so that you can claim as much space (of what little they give you) as possible. Flashlights or Headlamps (highly recommended) are a must especially if you are arriving at night.
Ah, good to know!
I usually get to Roo between midnight at 3 am depending on when I get out of Atlanta. If y'all leave at 7 pm you'll get there at 2 am. Just hop in line and sleep in shifts, get your stuff set up then hopefully get a few hours sleep before the sun comes up. Then you can wake up Thursday morning and hey, look at that! You're at Bonnaroo!
That's what I usually do anyway. I don't want to mess with sitting in line on Thursday morning/afternoon.
Just practice setting up your tent and canopy a few times before you leave. And obviously bring a flashlight.

How are lines at that time of night?
It varies. A few years ago I waited for 20 minutes. Last year I waited for like an hourish. I think they open the gate sometime between 3 pm and 6 pm so a few hours after that is a good time to aim for; enough that the initial line has all moved in but not long enough for the line to build back up.
Trapped In The Closet Sing-along at 2am Thursday: They blast classic R Kelly music videos before they play "Trapped" and it's like the biggest dance party all night. They hand out out water gun baretta's, spatulas and condoms and it's bonkers. Plus I'm hoping Mr. James comes back to dance in there again this year.
Amish Donuts: Just eat it Ferris Wheel MMJ Front row for a favorite show Dancing with random people Of course Brunch And meeting pondo ROCKS face to face
Oh yes! I have talked with pondo ROCKS. He told me to look for him, he's in the viking hat and large clock around his neck. Added to list! So in addition, I need to add the following to my list: front row (was planned for Royal Blood) Dancing with random people which is most logical to happen anyway I forgot the Brunch and the Silent Disco, which were both already on my list. And David Bowie pizza
It always amazes (and humbles) me that such wonderful people look for me at the place we all call home! Will do my best to hang out with you both!
1 thing not to miss: Go to at least one cafe show. I predict you will like it (I go to quite a few each year and they usually are near the top of my faves list)

Cafe Where has been one of my faves at Roo since I started going. You get to see the main stage and then as soon as they are done, turn right around and get usually a kickass performance from an up & coming band. I have seen Kyng, Ben Sollee, Von Grey, Tiny Victories, Skinny Lister, Claire & The reasons, Lilly & The Parlour Tricks and Chappo on that stage just to name a few. All were good to great performances.
