I went through all of the 90 or so acts in the initial lineup and picked a few that I hadn't known before and was impressed with.
Number one was Brandi Carlile. She blew me away with her (Youtube) live performances. Her songs are awesome and her voice was spot on on every video I looked at. I was disappointed to see how few "line-ups" clicks she got on the Bonnaroo Lineup.
Number two was Royal Blood. A two man rock band that sounds like a full band. I was enormously impressed. "Let me introduce you to the rest of the band!" <points at drummer>

We saw Brandi Carlile when she opened for DMB a few years back. We normally don't rush in to see the opener so I don't think we saw her whole set, but from what I remember she was good. I don't think I added her to my lineup, but I'm sure it will all depend on where the weekend takes me. She does have a great voice and sound, but I put her more in the category of 'mellow' music and when I go to concerts I love to sing along at the top of my lungs.
We just saw Royal Blood in September and they were fabulous live! They were a part of small one night 'fest' with Bear Hands, Ok Go, Capital Cities, Bastille, J. Roddy Walston and the Business, Switch Foot, and Meg Myers, and they freaking killed it! I only went in knowing a couple of their songs, but it was still GREAT show! I have a few short video clips I took on my phone; I'll try to upload to You Tube. We got pretty close since it was a smaller venue an they were on the smaller side stage and it was one of the highlights of the night!
