This is a maybe for me. I oddly have never been despite my proximity. It's the same weekend as NFF as it sometimes is, so it's a maybe. Lineup and friends attendance depending.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Yeah, same weekend as Lolla. I know I won't have the kids and will like this lineup much better. In 2013, we were front row of the main stage pretty much all day. It was great.

1. You're not missing anything IMO 2. I think it has been the same weekend as NFF once or twice

Yeah I have this weekend free so it was between this and Lolla. Will most likely end up here. A lot bands I haven't seen and a lot of stuff I like. Good mix.
I find the order a bit odd. I would've thought Wilco and STI would be after Greg Allman. If those two were replaced with MMJ, this would he my ideal Vibes lineup

Looks like they're casting a bit wider net with the bands this year. As a Connecticut native I've never been to GOTV, but looks like enough on there to change that this year with a few more solid additions. Do they only sell passes with camping included, since I'm not sure I'd go with the camping option?
Last time I went was a few years ago but they sold show only tickets and we stayed in a hotel on the water. It was great. Hopefully they still do something like that.
The majority of my Roo crew aren't heading to Tennessee this summer, so if they go to Vibes (they often do because many live in Hamden/New Haven), I will make the extra effort to make this happen.
Why do I find Wilco so boring? I really should like them.

I'll tell you why. Because Wilco is boring.
But I like a lot of "boring" music! Wilco should be perfect for me.

Anyone who calls Wilco boring has not had to scramble for a fresh pair of undies after a rip-roaring solo from Nels, or discovered why Glen Kotche is one of the greatest drummers out there today:
But I also find a lot of bands Inforoo fawns over to be boring - especially that twangy, pseudo-country-folk that's gotten big over the past five years. I'll take Yanni's whole discography over a single Lumineers album. Different strokes, Willis.
This is one of the better lineups of theirs, that I remember
Is this the first time they don't have some former Dead member(s) there?
Yeah pretty sure it is. The Deadheads of Facebook are all bitchin'. I am a Deadhead but I like a bit of everything. I like the lineup. I bet someone gets added though. Vibes has always been about celebrating the Dead.
I have been to GOTV the last 8 years, mainly because seaside park is only 15 mins away from my house. I have to say that I find this years lineup to be pretty solid. I am a little perplexed by gaslight being on the ticket though... Don't get me wrong, I am a fan and they are pretty freaking amazing live, they just seem a little outside the normal vibes ticket... Am I wrong? Was really hoping Primus would be on the 20th anniversary lineup though...
