solid line-up IMO. i'm big fan of laying in the grass and dancing to some jam bands. i'll be there, also mostly because it is close to my house and it is the only camping festival i could get my friends to agree to come to. doing roo solo and not shelling out a fortune for resale NFF tickets and sold out hotels so vibes it is.

I actually didn't completely commit to going until about a week ago. I had taken the days off months ago and obtained my boardie camping passes as soon as they became available, but only bought and actual festival ticket less than a week ago. Seaside is only 15 mins from my house, it's hard to pass up...

I say if u already have the days off( which tends to be the biggest hurdle for most people I know) just make the leap... I have never had a bad time at the vibes. And the weather is looking to be pretty solid. Perhaps some rain Thursday, but the rest looks to be upper 80's and sunny. Upper 60's at night.

I have a lot of vacation time, so that's not a worry for the most part. I just have a lot of vacations coming up that require airfare and a couple big bills this month as well. Also, I work a part-time serving job on weekends, so it's also lost money. So yeah, it's all about the $$$.

Yeah, that completely makes sense. I do vibes about as cheap as I can. I don't buy anything from vendors. One of my boys works at two roads and gets a ton of free beer... So basically just the ticket and food that I bring.
I decided last night to do Vibes! I'm currently in line to get in. I've gone 2 spots in almost 45 minutes. As someone who has ALWAYS made it into Roo in under 45 minutes.. this is an odd feeling!dododododo

The only nitrous I saw was the guys across from me, and it was only a couple of guys. I was in an area called boardie camping on the opposite side of the venue from General camping, the sketch factor on that side is very minimal. And I thought the seaside Allstars set was great!

I was sooooo tired for them that I couldn't really enjoy them to the full extent (they didn't even go on until 11:45), but they really were fabulous.
And they played for an extra hour... Though I had made my way over to green vibes for lettuce, who also went on late. I will say that that led to one of May favorite things of the weekend, funky dawgs came out in front of the stage to fill the gap, I was right next to them and the energy was awesome...

Yeah, from what I hear, late night shows always wait until headliner is over to begin. I originally planned to catch some of Lettuce, but when Warren stayed on until almost 2:00... I went to bed.
I saw the Funky Dawgs playing in front of the wooden bus picture opportunity thing (outside of main stage) between Pres Hall and Zappa and they killed it. Huge crowd dancing. (Those of you who I am snapchat friends with- I added a vid to my story) They really were amazing!!
