I had just assumed he'd be doing a DJ set, does anyone think there's a possibility he could bring a live band like this? I have virtually no knowledge of his usual performance.
If there's a live band, this set might be competing for a spot in my top 3 most anticipated.

He was at DJ set at Big Ears. It was still awesome.
Oh, for sure. Even it's just a DJ set, I can't wait for it. It was just that I hadn't even considered a live band as a possibility for this show. In Coulor grows on me with every listen. And those two songs with Romy really get me.
At this point, my top 5 most anticipated are (order changes):
Caribou Slayer Atomic Bomb King Gizz Jamie xx
Woods almost cracks the top 5.
If Jamie xx has a live band, and King Gizz's second show is between All Them Witches and Slayer, everything negative I've ever said about Bonnaroo will be forgotten (temporarily at least).

duuuuude caribou overlapping with florence is one of my biggest upsets next weekend. I've seen both already, but with flo's new album and caribou's show this tour being SOOO incredible, I don't know what to do!!

and yeah, ditto to dave about jamie xx being just a dj set when we saw him. though his new album wasn't out (obviously), so it could be pretty damn different than when we saw him.
Gosh is a 10.0 song of the highest order. I have made the painful decision to skip MMJ for Jamie XX.
If it makes it any less painful for you, both time I saw him this year he's opened with Gosh. So you might be able to catch it then head to MMJ.
How much time do you budget for getting from one show to the other? If MMJ starts at 8 why can't you stay for the full Jamie XX ending at 7:30 and not skip MMJ?

Caribou vs Florence does suck, especially since my gf loves Florence. Luckily we've got some people in our group willing to catch the full Florence set.

"Speaking to The New York Times, the producer and band member for The xx explained that he would not be playing the gigs as Jamie xx and that he is just going to DJ because he is 'not comfortable performing my songs on a stage.'
'I’m not going to play gigs as Jamie xx. I’m just going to DJ,' he told the site. 'I’m not comfortable performing my songs on a stage. It’s not something I think I’m particularly good at.'"

It'll be a lot easier to catch War on Drugs sometime else.
