Anyone looking at hitting this up this year? I had to miss last year, but already have time booked off work for this yrear. Usually falls on the weekend after Bonnaroo.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor has been announced as the festivals guest cutator. This is quite promising. Anyone have any insight on connections they might have with other acts? Friends of the band or who they've toured with?
F*ckin A, Boner. You're supposed to run our faces in it. Fuck you. Fuck Canada. Fuck everything. This one hurts almost as bad as as LA ATP in 2002. Full disclosure: I threw caution to the wind that year.

This is the first I'm seeing the lineup to be honest, work has been crazy the last 2 weeks. Now that I am on days off, I'll be spending the next 7 days digesting this information and listening to the lineup until my ears bleed
I'm freaking the fuck out for you. I'd trade body parts to attend this one.
No shit.
what are the biggest gets for you, and what should I be listening to. As of right now I'm familiar with Viet Cong, TELEVISION!!! God Speed, Iceage, King Tuff Fu Fucking Manchu Ex Hex And I know a bit of lightning bolt

so, basically, everything announced this far, with major attention to the top section. Got it.
There's usually a handful of notable names when the full lineup drops too. I remember Iceage and Suuns were with the last wave of announcements a couple years ago. I didn't make it last year, but there's very little stoping me from attending this time around
I know there is no way I can just drop a vacation this year or I'd be all over this in a heartbeat. From top to bottom, it's one of (if not the best) line-up's this year. You best enjoy that.

Tons more additions since the last post. De La Soul and Yo La Tengo were the big ones.
Congrats! This is the festival of the year (for my tastes). Nothing else even comes close. I'm thinking that I may do a Canadian getaway for vacation next year and it's between this and Oshega. I love these lineup's more but I do love some Montreal, too. We will see.

Wait, before I do this thing, I have 1 question. Are the venues walkable? Within reason, obv.
yes. Nothing more than a 20-30 minute walk with street cars and taxi's galore
Mind you I'm likely to just stay at a venue once I got there, besides a few spots where bars are within throwing distance.
I've been thinking about buying a festival pass instead of single tickets. I already have tickets to the 5 shows (about 22 acts)I posted above,at a total of $170 The Pass comes to about 225$ after tax. I just don't know if I really need to bounce around that much.
