Fun fact, comic sans is largely based off of the print used in Frank Miller's "Batman: The Dark Night Returns" (which is almost universally accepted accepted as the best of all the batman graphic novels)

I just re-read my post and realized how much of a nerd it made me sound like. Oh well, glad to educate the masses

You got that off the 24 facts that'll change your childhood article, didn't you? Because I knew that too, and that's exactly how it was written in that article.
Also, to get back to the OP, no way in hell are they going to purposely (purposefully?) try to drive down attendance. Come on. Let's be real.
Haha, I was wondering the same thing as Monie because it's not in comic sans on my iPad either.
Also Monie, I did not know that 24 things about your childhood thing existed. I'm just kinda nerdy and I've read several batman graphic novels and when I was reading comparisons of the novels recently (to figure out which one I'm going to read next) one of the sites gave some cool facts about each book and one of the facts about The Dark Night Returns was the thing about comic sans. That's cool that they mentioned that though, but I don't understand how knowing that would "change your childhood."

if it's not showing up that way for you, I don't know if this will work, butttt....
if you quote the OP and look at the code, it shows comic sans as the font face.
Bonnaroo can add as many more PODS as they want, but they aren't making the farm itself or the stages any bigger or say, hill-style, so everyone can see.
Rita: Instead of building houses, maybe you should be building land. On the ocean. There's no land on the ocean, Michael. Michael: [pause] You are brilliant. Narrator: Yeah. She wasn't.
Having too many people there means you can't enjoy the experience half as much.
How can I possibly enjoy yet another group of musicians playing rip-off folk tunes if other people are around? I DESERVE TO SEE THE HEAD AND THE LUMINEERS AND ROPE COMPLETELY ALONE!
I honestly think the reason the lineup isn't totally revolutionary this year is because they're trying to decrease this influx of people on the farm. Just thought I'd share.
"You know guys, I'm tired of this whole 'make lots of money' racket. What do you say we increase ticket prices, then unleash a terrible lineup? People will stay away, we'll go broke, but at least the farm will be empty so our vendors won't make as much money and they'll hate our guts?"
To actually post something in regards to the OP, I didn't feel last year was crowded at all. It may just be a function of what shows people end up at as to how crowded they feel things are. I think the headliners are less impressive this year just because of the nature of the year. No major festival is really knocking it out of the park with their headliners this year, and Roo is no exception. If anything, I feel like Bonnaroo's headliners are more geared toward getting your average music fan to the festival. Joel is a classic headliner that everyone knows and gets that older VIP demographic excited. M&S hasn't played a show in a while, provides a nice storyline and is total Top 40 radio material. Kendrick/Deadmau5 are both really popular with a younger demographic and allows them to try to give off the air that they are being progressive with the headliner booking with it being Kendrick's 1st major festival headlining spot and the first EDM headliner on the What Stage.

2013 felt way more crowded than 2014. But thats besides the point...
You are actually saying that Roo intentionally put out a crappy lineup so attendance would drop? Dont you know that they are in the market to make money?

Yeah, deciding to purposefully decrease attendance is never a decision that a business like this makes. However, if you look across the board at all the festivals, not just here in the US, but all over the world there are pretty lackluster line-ups out. Mostly because the festival season is always a reflection of the previous years music output. Last year was a pretty uninspired year as far as music releases overall, and we didn't see a whole lot of new acts breakout. A lot of others are in the studio this Spring/Summer, so hopefully this year bodes much better for the music industry and the consumer and 2016's festival season will be more impressive.

Comic Sans MS, commonly referred to as Comic Sans, is a sans-serif casual script typeface designed by Vincent Connare and released in 1994 by Microsoft Corporation. It is classified as a casual, non-connecting script for use in informal documents inspired by comic book lettering.
The typeface has been supplied with Microsoft Windows since the introduction of Windows 95, initially as a supplemental font in the Windows Plus Pack and later in Microsoft Comic Chat. Describing it, Microsoft has explained that "this casual but legible face has proved very popular with a wide variety of people."
The typeface's widespread use, often in situations for which it was not intended, has been criticized.
smellycat, as a graphic designer, I would not have found it amusing if you sent in production requests in that font. I would pretend to think it was funny to your face and talk smack about the fact that used it behind your back. I know I'm a bitch.
