it was really difficult to go back a whole page - especially when I had a notification that 2 other people had liked it during the timeframe of my first response to you.
Alright I keep seeing all these forums and blogs talking about Roo adding another major headliner. They all then proceed to go into how everyone is SO butthurt over this year's lineup. First of all, I love the lineup. I'm not going to lie, I was a little confused there wasn't a larger headliner at BLAM but, after I thought about it, I came to this conclusion...
If anyone has been to Roo multiple times including last year, we all know last year was stupid crazy. If you look up Roo's annual attendance it has been increasing every year. 2013 was the first year it hit 90,000 people and it was pretty packed. Then, 2014 was even more than that and there were times you literally couldn't move. Girls were trampled at the A$AP concert. Bonnaroo can add as many more PODS as they want, but they aren't making the farm itself or the stages any bigger or say, hill-style, so everyone can see. Having too many people there means you can't enjoy the experience half as much. I shouldn't have to camp out at a stage just to see an artist - that just isn't Roo. I honestly think the reason the lineup isn't totally revolutionary this year is because they're trying to decrease this influx of people on the farm. Just thought I'd share.

Lollll. Where did the OP even go? I want to hear more about this very sensible theory that Bonnaroo purposely booked a "bad line up" so that less people would come because, like, GIRLS WERE TRAMPLED AT A$AP FERG, OK?! SHIT GOT DANGEROUS.

It's going to be hard for any festival lineup to be revolutionary in the current market. It's a bloated, watered down market. The festival bubble will have to pop before we get any truly "revolutionary" lineups again. But that's just my opinion.
