Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is our first time to Bonnaroo and decided to make the long haul this year. There are 4 of us going from Eastern Ontario. Any other Canadians going this year? Is so and you've been there before, I would like to find out about the drive to Tennessee. We've never been across the border so we are thinking of leaving Wednesday Morning around5am. Any Canadians who are going it would be great to see some tips!!! How long did it take you and from where did you leave from, etc. Our plans are to get to Tennessee and then drive to Manchester Thursday Morning. What time do the bands come on at etc.
What time should we arrive? Should I get that map off E-bay that says this guy has a SECRET entrance into bonnaroo that cuts down wait time, in his mail he says the lineups are like 8 hours long......
Any tips from veterans? We would love to chat! Hope Mofro will be there. Just got a signed copy of his newest from Langerado (Friends went) hubby saw him at Bluesfest and have met Franti twice now! Can't wait for Galactic and STS9 amongst others!
Good to know about that map, thought it was a little bogus anyhow. Like really, how can someone keep a route into a festival that secret? C'mon, gimme a break. But I must say and ask at the same time, how long have you waited? I went to Sarstock in Toronto and there was 490,000 people there. Super well organized, and the strems of people flowing in and out was excellent at all times. Whats your idea on time to go and wait in line and what is the best highway to take? We will be travelling I-75 I believe.
You need to get onto I 24 at some point. I 75 is quite a ways from here.
It would probably be best if you took 75 all the way to Chattanooga, then got on 24W to Manchester. Or you could get on I40 in Knoxville and take 40 to Lebanon and get on Hwy 840 over to I 24E to Manchester. (Take 75 to chattanooga and get on 24W in chatt)
As far as your wait in line to get in. It varies depending on when you get here. If I were you I would get here around 8 or 9 AM Thurs Morning and try to take the Temporary exit off I24 (exit 112).
I personally have never had to wait because I live at Bonnaroo. I can walk.
Good Info! We had planned on being there around 8-9am. I think we are driving straight through which is absolutely crazy but we just want to get there. We are looking at about 20 hours. Isn't that crazy! We are veteran festers for sure but have never been to the Roo. We have watched plenty of videos on it thhough and have 2 here at home tonight to watch. I'm so looking forward to this fest! So the music starts in the evening I gather and when does the lineup come our (With times/Dates)
OMG thats crazy driving from Kelowna. Part of my family is from Vernon (Living on Silver Star) Kewl! We are leaving Pembroke at aorund 5am. Crazy hour of the morning to drive but oh well! Gotta get there in one day.
