Rob Da Bank tweeted that it's now coming out on Monday.
Ah, lame. Going back through his tweets, it looks like they just finalized their Saturday headliner. Maybe having some trouble with the Friday headliner?

I never saw anywhere that they said they'd be announcing today. They posted on Facebook this past Saturday saying "This week we have some very big announcements coming". Maybe that got pushed back or they might have some news this week still at some point. Either way, let's hope we get a full lineup on Monday along with ticket details and all that jazz.
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs
Rob da Bank definitely tweeted that it would be out today but then followed that up by saying it was pushed back till Monday. Hopefully that date sticks and doesn't get pushed back again. Wonder how many acts still have to be booked...

"UPDATE: A representative from Embrace tells Exclaim! that the press release leaked by Live in Limbo included inaccurate lineup details, so take the information below, and the image above, with a grain of salt. In the meantime, a press release with accurate details is expected to arrive later tonight (March 1)."

I'll probably go check it out. Early bird pricing is only $100 for the weekend which is a good price. There's a handful of names I know and want to see and I'm sure it'll be more about the whole experience than just the acts. Anyone else thinking of checking it out?

Festival is this weekend and we still don't have a schedule! I'm guessing they want to hold off and generate last minute ticket sales without exposing the conflicts. Weather looks like it could be insane with some sites calling for 25 mm (over an inch) of rain which could be crazy but could also make for some fun sets. See you all there on Friday and hopefully the weather treats us nicely.
Apil 25th: The Sheepdogs
May 15th: Flying Lotus
June 11th: The Postal Service
June 13-16th: Roo
August 3rd: Grove Music Festival (Phoenix, Hot Chip, Girl Talk)
Fabulous music. Florence KILLED IT! Nas was great. Jamie XX, Flume and Caribou all had huge sets.
The site was great, very well laid-out, plenty of bars and bathrooms. Lots of cool chill spots. There aren't many festivals around here where you can dance on a beach in front of a gorgeous skyline. Top marks for aesthetics too -- the stages, decorations and all the art looked fantastic.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT as expected, the sheer logistical nightmare of getting people on and off an island just might prohibit this event from ever coming back. It was a complete nightmare both days. Waited four hours for a boat on Friday. And those who were thinking to beat the rush on Saturday by leaving early STILL had a wait of almost two hours for a ferry. I am the LAST person to ever be in a hurry leaving the festival, so I just sat back and watched the disaster play out, and thankfully was prepared. But it was pretty scary. You kick 20,000 people off site at once with NO access to water/food/bathrooms, and there are going to be some problems. I saw people crying, fighting, passing out, it was a scary scene! Thankfully nothing serious happened. Though one guy was pretty seriously talking about swimming back. Hope he's okay.
The boat situation is a damn shame, because otherwise, this festival still somehow had some serious charm.
