Almost feels dated now. Reading thru it did bring back some nice memories though. I really think Bonnaroo thought they would sell WAY MORE of those than they actually did.

They have seemingly not found the sweet spot yet for commemorative merchandise, given the scattered dvds and sweet sounds volumes released at random. I like the book, my best friend made it into it which makes it all the more special. I enjoyed the sweet sounds volumes I have and will even occasionally pop in the dvds from 8 and 9 if I want a laugh, but I wish they were more consistent with a yearly momento of some sort. I didn't even get a commemorative ticket this year, wtf is up with that?

You're not alone there. I think they're relyin' on YouTube more than tryin' to sell DVDs, which is too bad. I'd love to have a quality 2-disc DVD or Blu-ray of each year and would pay handsomely fer it.

I really wish they'd sell soundboard recordings and/or the video they take. I know some artists probably wouldn't sign off on it, but I'd kill to have some of the past sets in pro quality. I would definitely pay a pretty penny for quite a few shows.

I'd pay good money for DVDs.
It seemed like after 2008 they were going to make full sets available (potentially to buy, but at least to watch on the web) after putting the full Raconteurs set up on their website. Then they were saying stay tuned or whatever and never did more.
I'd love to have a DVD that was put together like the old ones (with footage/interviews/quotes inbetween sets) but feature more than one song per band. Maybe 3 each and make it a two-DVD set. Or let us buy full video sets to download (then I can burn my own DVD).
Basically, I just like having live footage of the Roo shows I've seen haha.

I've always assumed that PBS would one day be involved. I distinctly remember professional cameras and filming of the radiohead show in 06, and have always assumed roo would archive its shows then one day release them to PBS for fund raising. I've always felt guilty about the dvd-8 quality rip of that show on my imac and would gladly pay for a legitimate copy - I'd throw all kinds of money at that.
