I'm either going to try to pay the shuttle guy or just walk. I know bham can be a little sketchy but I think there will be tons of festival goers everywhere so it'll be safer.

I'm going solo. Idk about walking back but maybe investing in parking my car near the venue and driving back each night. I know my hotel is about 1.5 miles from the venue but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I'm at the springhill suites -- anyone else staying there and want to get together for the walk or nah?
Just found out i got a media pass, so I'll be coming to Sloss!
Nice. That was quick. I'm replying as soon as they email me but I'm still working through it with them. I get the feeling this is their first time handling media requests like this so it's all willy nilly.

Yeah no form, which is weird. I bet they are overwhelmed.
Blaaaaah. I saw that. I REALLY wannt go but might need to sell my ticket. My weekends with my son/his dad aren't lining up and I might have to cancel this trip.
I'm getting a bit concerned about this festival. The lineup is excellent, no concerns there. But why has it not sold out yet? The venue is not very big and yet they're only on their 3rd level of 4 levels of pricing.

What exactly are you concerned about? It's a brand new festival.

The venue is not very big, meaning their capacity isn't very big, meaning not as many tickets as most other festivals. With this lineup it being a first year festival shouldn't be a problem to sell out. I envision them overselling the event and trying to pack people in like sardines in Alabama's July heat. That's what I'm concerned about.

I ended up with an extra pair of tickets. I'll sell them for the price of the tier before this current one if anyone is looking for tickets and wants to save a few dollars.
Has anyone tried to transfer tickets yet? I just tried and got the following message..
"Sorry, Ticket Transfer is currently unavailable. The artist, team, or venue may not offer it for this event or it could be temporarily delayed. Please try again later or contact Fan Support for more info"
Does anyone know how much the upgrade from GA to VIP or the iron pass is that they posted about a few days ago?
They said in response to a question in another post that it's just the difference in price between the GA ticket when you bought it and the current price of the VIP or Iron ticket.
