bentclip I have a jumper box with outlets I use for camping but I wouldn't want it to get stolen in tent only because it's not cheap. Otherwise that sounds like a great idea.

yeah I wouldn't do that. most people are not going to steal a 50lb battery though

Hi! Brand new here, first time at Bonnaroo. Going all alone, I´m from Mexico and don´t know anyone so it would be great to camp with you guys! Do i have to sign up in a list?? I also will be flying to Nashville or Knoxville, anyone who can share his ride with me? I can cooperate with money for gas.

I have flown into Nashville the last 4 years. Bonnaroo has a shuttle that will take you from the airport right to the farm. You go in a back way so no waiting in traffic. That's what I suggest doing. I think its like $60 for RT or $40 one way.

Thank you Snowmanpj, but I dont want to take the shuttle, because I´ll be arriving on Wednesday, I want a different kind of experience and also pay less money. If you hear of someone who have some space in their car will be great.
So, our plan is to arrive in the mid to late afternoon on Wednesday (Say 4:00-5:00pm). Wondering if anyone has experience arriving around this time with intentions to make the pilgrimage to Camp Inforoo. Any insight on where the parking might be, Best entrance to use, Line waits... any info really. I have looked at other posts but very little info on tent only experiences. Thanks in advance.

I see you asked the same question in multiple places. I won't continue to clutter up this thread too much but will say this one has the info you desire. Your question about getting in is asked all the time and the answer is always that camp locations do not reliably correlate with arrival times and tollbooths, or as everyone always says, "It's a crap shoot." Finding room in Tent Only and having fun are the only two things you can count on.
And, on topic, if I make it I am thinking of bringing some riot punch, bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapenos, and likely some sort of fresh fruit. My plans are still a bit up in the air, but if I make it to Roo I will make it to brunch this time, as I still owe some big thank you's to some folks I missed last year, and am leaning towards TO.
I'm going to be ordering the camp banner next week. If anyone has any requests, let me know. I'm thinking i'll just throw a clipart rooster and kangaroo on it because I'm pretty creative like that. I found a rainbow tie dye background which seems festival appropriate.

"Camp Inforoo 2015 Naked Hot Tub Edition"
Camp always has to be naked.
Can't believe I missed something so basic! Fixed the thread name. Honestly, I don't think I'd recognize most of you if you were wearing clothes.
If I make it to roo this year, I intend on being in tent only and I'll probably be around camp inforoo but idk if I'll be right in it because it's such a small area anyway that I know I'll be close to everyone anyway.
also, so, pants off dance off was possibly the greatest show ever!

The Maready Ladies will be at Camp again this year!! With a new job and limited vacation time, I missed it last year. Amanda was in a required summer semester at University so she missed it too but did get to Firefly. Leah went with her friend David but camped a little further away. This year all three of us are coming together along with David and maybe another friend or two. Can't wait can't wait can't wait to see everyone again this year!!!
I was looking at solar powered LED lights for camp but ended up buying 40 paper lanterns instead. I also found custom banners pretty cheap so maybe I'll invest in one of those if someone artsy wants to make the design. And I have an igloo water cooler for mass amounts of water (aka booze) in the cart but I'm not sure how much room I'll have in my car. Sunday's are highly productive Amazon shopping days for me.
last year I used led rope lights hooked to a marine battery(battery for boats or campers). they burned bright every night. I had them on my flag pole as some here can verify. team wobble house
Dude!!! I camped on the other side of the road from you last year! I was the guy sitting by the road with a $5 bill hooked to some rope. Took me 5 hours but I got 100 people trying to pick it up, hope one of them wasn't you o.o Anywho, that wobble house flag was dope, super easy to find camp, thx!

was never me but I remember watching people. I hope we didn't make you mad too by staying up past midnight like we did the rest of those around us lol

People were mad that you stayed up past midnight at Bonnaroo? Seriously?
not that early but we did stay out till 2-4 each night. then 8 or 9 one morning. still amazes me that people get made when you "make to much noise" at roo

Ya, I'm not exactly sure what they expect. If the noise is an issue for someone, BRING EARPLUGS!
Last year at Camp Inforoo, around sunrise on Sunday morning, some girl yelled at us, "Shut the fuck up!" All of us looked around, confused. Then proceeded to tell her to chill out, we're all having a good time. First of all, the Kaillope stage was louder then we were. We weren't playing music, or being that loud, just talking about the awesome shit we just saw. We were pretty tame, I thought.
She must have been jealous she missed the majesty that was Darkside.
Don't come to Bonnaroo is you expect peace and quiet. Or if you do, bring earplugs.

<omitted> BRING EARPLUGS! <omitted>
I learned this in the Navy. You want to sleep well on a ship? Earplugs. You want to sleep well at Roo? Earplug. I get foamy ones though, the rubber ones hurt my ears if they're in too long.
Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I just noticed on this post that Rothric and I have hit every Bonnaroo since 2007, but never the same one.
Speaking of Brunch, did anyone bring a Beer Pool last year? I think that went over pretty well in 2013. I can make that happen for sure.
There was no beer pool last year. I think someone mentioned they bought one for this year but I don't remember who. I'm so excited you guys will be joining us again! We've missed you all!
