Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
What is Camp Inforoo? It is the best place to camp in all of Bonnaroo. It’s one big communal group campsite that we've been doing for 11 years.
Where is Camp Inforoo? It’s in tent only. If things go to plan it should be here (YMMV);
Can I come? Yes.
Do I have to RSVP? No, but you are welcome to let us know in this thread that you’re coming.
Can you save me a spot? Not really, but we always find room.
What can I bring? Your wonderful self, tables, booze, shade tents, chairs, food, coolers, friends, a chill attitude, whatever you can share.
How can I find it? Once I come in sometime Thurs morning, I'll set up the baby flags;
on a 16 ft. flagpole, you should be able to see it all the way from the Arch. The Inforoo flag should go up at some point too. To find the Camp before Thurs morning, sign up for the GroupMe or something (to be set up soon, please see my post on page 3) and check the msgs, that's how I find it. If all else fails, go to the general location shown on the map above and yell "Corn Cat" and listen for "Nom Nom", seriously, trust me, it will work.
I'm just a lurker, I've never been to 'roo before, I'm not good at talking to people, I've got a weird haircut, it's the Wednesday before Bonnaroo and I have very bad taste in clothes. Are you sure it is OK for me to just show up? Yes, just stop dithering and join us already! You are going to hang with the bestest people in all of Bonnaroo, we were on TV and everything.

I hope to join you this year, just need to get an earlier start (and hopefully avoid another 8 hour wait in line).
When did you arrive that you had to wait 8 hours?
About 2-2:30am, got routed to the East Tollbooth. I've been sent that way each of the last 2 years and have had similar results (i.e. long wait, Super BFE). I'm likely going past the exit and coming back up this year to guarantee the highway tollbooth.
Hey guys, this year will be my first on the Farm and I am dragging all my stuff/girlfriend to tent only/camp Inforoo. Got some extra room in the modified radio flyer, so I am taking any requests/suggestions on what is always needed/wanted to share and make a better experience for me and my neighbors?

can't ever have too many canopy tents!!
Yeah it would be great if everyone could bring two canopies per tent they bring to camp.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.
I was a little down about family and friends all bailing on me this year. My brother was almost guaranteed until he lost his job, he's working it out, but not with Roo money to spare.
After reading this post, I'm thrilled to get the full Inforoo experience for my fourth Roo. For myself I'll be bringing a cot, food and alcohol. For everyone else I'll be bringing great vibes, decent guitar, bad singing, a 10x10 canopy, tarps, a table, and whatever else I scrounge up.

Sorry about your brother man.
But everythin' else sounds groovy, so come and join!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I was looking at solar powered LED lights for camp but ended up buying 40 paper lanterns instead. I also found custom banners pretty cheap so maybe I'll invest in one of those if someone artsy wants to make the design. And I have an igloo water cooler for mass amounts of water (aka booze) in the cart but I'm not sure how much room I'll have in my car. Sunday's are highly productive Amazon shopping days for me.

Nice score. I'm looking for the push in the ground type solar lights to make a path from the road to camp. Probably need a 10 or 12 pack. If anyone finds a deal on them, lemme know.

That's a good idea. We definitely need more light at camp. The lanterns have mixed reviews so I'm going to test them out and if they are a no go I found "fairy lights" that are a little more expensive that I'll pick up.

I have about 25 of those solar light things. Nothing fancy. Just a stick and a fixture. if the ground isn't too hard then they'll work. but if it hasn't rained in at least a day then they'll break when trying to push them in.

Make a sex joke about that one....please
What if I get it in but then I get stuck? Like it's wet enough on Wednesday but it's too dry come Monday morning?

Great to have you join the cult group! Bring whatever, chairs, booze, ez-ups, water, booze, food, gatoraid, friends, booze, a bat to ward off the pandas...
So it looks like the last of the torch bearers in my roo crew may not make it this year. So my group looks like just my younger sister and her bf. They will be making their fourth trip, but they have always tagged on with me and my buds, so I'm not totally confident in their camp leader abilities. I usually send them an excel sheet of things to bring, since i fly and can only bring so much. I think this year we may try to join camp inforoo to have more camp mates and they can get help in setup. I fly in on Thursday and shuttle down from the airport, usually arriving around 4pm. I think I'll be fine if I get them to meet up while y'all are setting up. Can you give me ELI5 instructions to give to them?

We have been behind the General stote kinda the past few years. Just tell her to head towards the arch and to use the group me app and whoever arrives first will text out an exact location. The flag won't be out till weds but I'd like to get a banner so maybe that'll be helpful.

last year I used led rope lights hooked to a marine battery(battery for boats or campers). they burned bright every night. I had them on my flag pole as some here can verify. team wobble house
