I think its a good thing the metal heads are starting to come to the roo. Anyone who celebrates freedom from the Clear Channel dominated bullshit on the radio is a friend of mine.

I miss Pepperoni rolls..........lived in Morgantown for awhile, too bad Tennessee only sells hotdogs EVERYWHERE. I'm trying to convince my bro from WV to join us at roo, which is actually pretty easy.
I spent the whole weekend driving all around West Virginia, too cold to do much outside, so my outdoor plans were dashed, but beautiful country, John Denver wasn't talking out his ass. I saw pepperoni rolls, I did not know what they were and didn't consider finding out. It sounds like I have another reason to go back (besides All Good Fest).

yeah only in WV will you find pepperoni rolls in copious amounts. and as far as jon denver the west virginia song is really about the Western region of virginia, but dont feel stupid becuase most WVians don't even know that themselves, methinks it is even the state motto. TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS!!!
Myself and four friends are coming from Beckley and Fayetteville to rep the Wild and Wonderful 304. Pepperoni rolls will be a great snack to bring along. Pepperoni has so many preservatives it should last in the heat.
pepperoni rolls come in many sizes, most of them include sliced pepperoni rolled up in dough (pizza-style dough). Some have different kinds of cheese in them such as pepperjack. They're good dipped in pizza sauce, marinara, garlic butter, ranch dressing, or plain.
I'm sold, anything with marinara, garlic butter, or ranch dressing can't help but be good. I was stoked that every restaurant that I went to had Mountain Dew, and everyone in the place would be drinking it. I don't drink alcohol anymore, so anything besides coke is a treat when I go out.
The colassesanos roll is the best. It is a hoagie cut open with little sticks of pepperoni and is usually toped with a pork and meat and tomato chili "sauce" and mozarella cheese and then toasted. I bet if i brought a bunch I coulod make a profit. Then again I spend 51 weeks a year trying to make a profit, so...... maybe just a little tasting party instead.

we had neighbors last year from WVU. They brought Pepperoni rolls. they were good. I don't think they will be attending this year though. gotta find some WV with Pepperoni Rolls.
Will be coming down from Harrison County. Roo will be my friends bachelor party (wedding the following weekend) Will have the van stuffed with rolls and whatever else...Look for the WV flag (and maybe some of us) flying above our camp site. Thas' right!

I lived in Beckley for a while working for Theatre west Virginia. Subsequently I named my dog after the town because I loved it so much. I live in New Orleans now and while the food down here is the best in the world, I do miss pepperoni rolls and Biscuit World.
