I purchased a GA ticket on the payment plan this year and this week the card that the payments were being charged to became compromised so I had to cancel that card and get a new one. Tried calling today to update the card information and was told that they can't take my new card information and store it and the way I need to handle is to let the payment in April process, not get paid and that I would then receive an email telling me how to log on to an "online account" and change/update my card info. I asked her to confirm this was correct as opposed to my entire order being forfeited, per the ticketing agreement and she assured me that my order would not be cancelled, that there is a grace period etc. Has anyone had this similar experience and is it correct that I will not forfeit my order and that I will be able to update my information online once they send the email?

I had the exact same thing happen a few years ago. I wouldn't be too worried but it may ease your mind to call and confirm this stuff with another employee.
Basically I had to get a new card but was doing a payment plan. I freaked out when I got the letter about a new card from my bank because I know they kept saying that if you can't make a payment your order is cancelled and you won't get a ticket and all that other scary warning stuff. I got nervous and called and talked to people who assured me that they always check when a payment fails and I had to do the same thing....to wait until it didn't go through and then get contacted and give my new card info. Everything worked out fine and I was assured that they want us to have our ticket and go to the festival and the extreme warnings are just there to hammer home the point of making sure you can make the payments.
If you want, give them a call and say you just wanted to confirm 100% what you should be doing. If they say the same thing then I wouldn't worry too much. It worked out for me.

I did the payment plan and my card was compromised as well. I received an email that said my payment didn't go through and there was a link that allowed me to apply a different card to it. Once it was applied the payment went right through no problems. Hope that helps.

I had this happen to me last year as well.I simply went back to the ticket purchasing website and registered a new card. Also, I was able to pay the entire balance and not pay the service fees associated with the payment plan.

My card got stolen in November. Don't worry and just follow this advice, it works

They're good at working things out with you. I didn't have a compromised card or anything, but at one point, during the payment plan, I had car troubles, resulting in a new battery (which ate the money I'd set aside). All I did was email them, and they agreed to handle my payment a different way.
My bank put a stop payment on mine the first year I did a payment plan and I was locked out of that email account so I didn't know about it until I went to check on it and saw I had missed 3 payments. I called them up and they let me pay off all of them then without any issue. The ticketing agreement sound harsh but they don't seem to be too picky about it. They want to sell you your ticket and get all of their money.
