And how the fuck can you just clear Surf when you dont even know for sure, thats the craziest shit. One thing I learned last game is to not clear anyone. Look what happened to Potent when he cleared Rummy, and now we shouldnt do the same to you because you are the supposed inspector? Also, coming out when you did made ZERO sense. I would have waited until more votes went down this round before the reveal. Instead you come out with plenty of people left to vote. I would of at least typed a rough draft of the reveal and saved it for an opportune time when more votes and information had been given.
I am still waiting for surfbumdj to disclose those thoughts he was supposed to come up with at lunch yesterday. I love how you "arent being a good townfolk" Than why the fuck are you even here? I dont wanna hear that bullshit at this point in the game. You either play or you dont, are you going to play the game or just allude to theorys? If this game is really too hard to keep up with, than dont make posts like you have without providing more. Either that or tell us your role and quit the game right now. This is surf getting called out by Jimmy in round 1. Seems to me like surf had been keeping up this far into the clusterfuck.

I personally think that any accusations or bullcrap, with exception of an inspector coming out, is pointless. I observe for the first round. It's how I play. I need to figure people out in each game, because people's play style changes sometimes, and it can lead to clues.
HOWEVER, until we have a whack, we have NOTHING CONCRETE.
That's my view. So getting involved in a shit show before we have a lynch and a whack to decipher, what's the point in trying to shake out anyone? It's luck to get a mafia in the first round. After that, it's following a trail of clues.
This is Surf showing up for day 3. Notice here he says he hasnt been keeping up too well. But there was not that much more to read compared to the end of day 1. So what happened that made him lose all ability to play this game properly? Any answer to that Surf?
I've been very quiet this game, mostly because of being busy in life and no time to make a thorough read through of the thread. I feel very underqualified to make a decision at this point.
I'm being a shitty player this game, which is not like me.
I am trying to read through everything and make a decent choice. I'm a having to piece together everything and read a couple pages at a time, and it's not exactly helping.
At this point, Krissyjo, you and Jaz are on my radar but I feel more comfortable with you in the runoff if it's a choice. But I am withholding my vote until I read everything and try to make something of it.
I guess if I tell the town theorys that I am thinking it makes me suspicious, but remember one thing. I never once cleared any one of you because the only information I have is of myself. The mafia know the rest of the towns roles except for inspector, and we most likely have 3 left so there is a lot of sway they have at this point in the game.
Farris - you are flying off the handle here and it's not helping anything. I never cleared anyone in this game. I have stated exactly why I have you on my list to ask about. I also explained when I revealed myself why I was doing it then.
If you are truly a townie - you need to calm down.
I'm not at all surprised that I'm being voted off this round; the accused rarely make it out alive when an inspector (real or fake) decides to come out. A fake inspector reveal usually only makes sense when the Mafia stand to win in the current round or when they feel like they're backed into a corner and need to make drastic moves - I just hope that it's the latter in this case. Krissy will surely continue to call me a liar and take shots at whatever I say, and that's fine; I don't expect anyone to be swayed by anything I have to say at this point. Just remember that it's always in the Mafia's best interests to make things appear as other than they really are.
Something that needs to be noted, and I believe Jfg said something similar at the beginning of day 2, is that originally before the Rummy whack. I was leaning heavily towards a Krissy, Jazmo, Rummy mafia group.
Once Rummy got whacked I didn't feel confident anymore of that situation.
My problem is how Jazmo worded things after the whack. Here was his big post.
The only thing I can truly conclude after rereading this thread is that Day 1 was a total clusterfuck. But I think we know that.
When analyzing a whack, I generally start out with the assumption that the Mafia is trying to kill the inspector and is not giving us a red herring. That's what I've always done when I've been Mafia, at least. The latter is obviously a possibility that needs to be looked at, but I don't find that to be the most likely scenario most of the time.
The issue I'm having with Rummy's whack is that she didn't really gun too hard for anyone. She stated in multiple runoffs that she didn't really believe anyone in the runoff was Mafia, as well as a call for more quiet people to start talking (a sentiment echoed by others). Yes, she stacked on me initially and then voted for me in the final round, so it makes sense to look at me because of that. But in the Krissy/Potent/Jazmo runoff, she locked her vote on Krissy when the votes were Krissy - 4/Potent - 4/Jazmo - 3. Since we know she was town and wasn't colluding with anyone to move their vote to me after she locked on Krissy, I don't think it makes sense to look at this whack as pointing to me being Mafia and Rummy being inspector. If that were the case I'd like to think you'd agree that she would either have moved her vote to me or made a push for a Krissy/Jazmo runoff.
Krissy is the only one that I see this whack pointing towards right now, since I know Rummy and I are both town and Krissy is the only other person she voted for (I'm trying to pay more attention to votes than the discussion). Rummy posted a lot in the first round, but on further review, it doesn't seem like she actually said much - nothing too concrete, anyway. A couple of jokes ("I'm looking at you tainted" and "Rummy > jfg"), a lot of probing other players and asking for clarification on the rules, but not a lot of hard evidence. Even her suspicions of Krissy weren't very solid, in my opinion.
I question whether or not the Mafia thought Rummy was actually inspector - if she was, I think that she would have PMed the ref about clarification concerning the whack instead of openly asking about it in the thread - and I'd expect the Mafia to think so as well. Unless maybe that's why they thought she should be whacked - because she was asking about inspectory-type stuff? Because if the whack isn't about Krissy or setting Krissy up, then I'm not sure what it tells us.

The overarching feeling I had throughout the day 1 runoff was that Rummy was bullshitting in regards to all of her questions about the rules. Especially when she already knows the game play mechanics from playing in person as she has stated. I understand a question or two being asked, but she had too many for me not to look her way. Those questions about inspector at the end could have easily been to set up for a day 2 red haring.

I have stated two possible groupings. One is not stronger than the other for me at this point. Voting Jim straight off is stupid. I would really like a Krissy/Jim runoff. If its not too late, and somebody else can come in to make an additional change, I will change my vote to make a 2 way runoff happen
The crazy thing is, Rummy really could have been a red haring. A really big red haring. Its funny looking back at this post from Jfg.

As you asked, and this was before the day ended, i was looking at a possible trio of you - jazmo / krissy / rummy, as you three led off voting at the beginning of the first (four way) run off, and i thought i saw a pattern. Jaz and krissy ended up together on potent with rummy on krissy for the mythical 2-1 split. The longer rummy stayed on krissy, and you three began peeling off, I thought I might be on to something...until rummy never moved to potent. After she was whacked, I obviously was wrong on grouping you three together. Three.
Then with less than an hour to go jim comes back into it switches votes and ignored questions, Jimmyroo got real involved and said things.
So I have more info, but less certainty.
Just because rummy got whacked, it in no way means i might not have been on to something with jaz and krissy.
On another note, two players changed things at the end of voting day 1. Another was instrumental in removing a player in another round.
I guess I'm looking for the movers and shakers.

Wasnt Taint the one talking about wanting to see the inspector make it to day three? He was trying to make it to day three, thats why he didnt come out yet. He thought he could fly under the radar but him calling out both Krissy and Jaz sealed his fate. The way I see it, there is still the chance Rummy wasnt a mafia red haring so I am looking at it two ways.
The first involves Rummy being mafia, that would be a great reason why Jaz and Krissy would try to separate by faking inspector btw. If thats the case then all we have to do is lynch Jaz, I will probably be the mafias whack since I am on them so hard and then we vote krissy off and the town wins.
The second involves Rummy not being mafia. This would mean there is a third mafia hiding (as then they still have the option to lynch Krissy), we still lynch Krissy next if she is around. Then instead of town winning, we go into the final day. This is the part I am least sure of. I would lean towards Surf or Jimmy, but we would really need more to play out before I could start making accusations like that.
If they do whack me, they will discredit me long after I am whacked, much like they are doing currently. They will try to go back to other scenarios I brought up. Let me make one thing clear, I stand firm that this post should be the one looked to for reference over all others. I hope I have provided good information that can be used to win this game for the town. I am sorry if I came at any if you harshly, I tried to help the best I can

If there is a third alive, do not discount the third being Bogart. It is entirely possible they had the balls to name him with them because they were trying to get us to pick a side anyway.

Way to go, mafia. Smart yet risky move in whacking me in order to smear my name.
I guessed Farris and he is indeed a townie. I'm guessing that's why mafia kept me alive. Bogart is 100% mafia. You guys at least got rid of Jazmo. As you can see - the game isn't over - Jazmo was mafia.
If surf is the third mafia, it's gonna suck because he's been so inactive and under my radar.
I told you all to lynch me if I was still alive. If you want to do that, feel free. The town will lose, but I did leave that door open.

Here's what I make of yesterday.
On one hand, the straw man: Krissy coming forward as inspector can obviously be interpreted one of two ways. Based on her being honest in the matter, Jaz (who I suspected) and bogard (who I honestly haven't suspected heavily) are mafia. Krissy is in a very difficult position to explain herself as being an inspector, and has done a decent job of explaining her motives and actions. If that is indeed true, she would also be honest about you being town. Given everyone left on the board, and your approach which has more or less funneled down by the deaths, it isn't difficult to believe you are town. If you take all of that into consideration, we are left with a situation where voting off Bogart would more or less secure a town win.
On the other hand, the illusion: If Krissy is indeed an inspector imposter, it wouldn't be difficult to infer that she is mafia. If she is mafia I would assume that Jaz is too, and they established this approach with X in what could be a last ditch effort to save the Mafia. It's a difficult battle, attempting to explain that you are inspector at any point in the game. Either Potent or Jim could have been Mafia, which would have set the wheels in motion for what would appear a very desperate last move. If Krissy is lying, she could have easily guessed that you were town based your approach. No one can speak their piece from beyond the grave, so Krissy could have orchestrated a guess list that could pass for logical and avoid difficult questions. I found that her asking about you was strange, given that there has been so much suspicion cast in my direction.
All of this leads to this simple idea of IF. If Krissy is indeed inspector, it comes down to Surf and I. If Krissy isn't inspector, and if you don't believe she is, I'd think it would be pretty logical to vote for her as Mafia. I'm around, and didn't realize you had asked me to explain myself but these are my thoughts.
