The ticket page links to a ticketmaster event. Like you said, it would be an awful lot of work for a prank with especially odd bands to be using to trick people.

Maybe they announced it on April 1st on purpose to create buzz? People speculating about whether or not it is real would be good publicity.

Blacklisted just shared it on their facebook, so it's either real or an incredibly elaborate prank.
Okay, so the Wrecking Ball Twitter account tweeted "Did we miss anyone?" or something like that. Not sure if they are genuinely asking for suggestions or just want people to guess possible additions.
Anyways, I tweeted to them "Bad Religion, for the love of God."

Descendants?!?!? I had NO idea they were still in anyway active. That's awesome! I've seen ALL a couple of times (like 18 years ago) but never a proper Descedants show.
This event could be spectacular or really sad. I never want to see punk bands I really admired long ago playing phoned in shows for middle aged former punks who want to wax nostalgic about the good old days when we listened to REAL punk rock. My attitude about old school punk - If your band hasn't made any new music in 10 years and your setlist is entirely made up of songs that established your place in punk history back in the 1900's then GTFO! That's not punk that's just sad. Resting on your laurels, to me at least, is the opposite of what was and still is punk.
